Partha, 08 Oct 2010There are many authorised reseller here in Bangladesh.and t... morejust bcoz many retailers r on d list does not mean u could access d app store frm ur country,first confirm dat does d iphone app store work in ur country n also dat r dere any service providers in ur country providin d micro SIMs??m not sure dat is d app store accessible frm bangladesh or not lyk many african countries dont support it.
N yeah m sure of dis thing dat apple doesnt hav an apple store official in ur country so wat will happn if anything happens 2 ur iphone in d warranty period??i mean r dere any authorized service centres dere??do not purchase d iphone widout confirming dese details.

Some tym back india,bangladesh were not listed so could not access d app store.
May b bangladesh is still not listed on apple website,though m not sure but if its not den purchasing an iphone is truely pointless n yes dere r mostly paid apps n a very few free also but 2 completly access even dose free apps u'll hav 2 pay 2 apple.
Told u apple r 1 greedy company always sucking money frm d customers even after selling products 2 dem.

The only app i used so far is the opera mini 10 in my N79. And i never felt the necessity of apps in my N79.don't know about iPhone though.i am from Bangladesh.so how do i check about the update thing.

Partha, 08 Oct 2010One thing i don't like about nokia is dat its price drastic... moreman c,iphones success is all about apps BUT d app store is inaccesible or rather not available in some countries,so if u r living in any of dose countries den owning an iphone is pointless n further more u might b even deprived of d further software updates launched by apple n for accessing d app store if ur country is listed den u'll hav 2 giv ur credit card num n details 2 apple well in advance n yeah d battery is non removal n so is in n8.
Itunes is crap but u hav got no other option n iphone supports only micro SIMs.video callin only 2 ipod touch latest n iphone4 only.
N dere r many more restrictions(wid apple dere r always restrictions.)

Partha, 08 Oct 2010I am not looking forward to android phones coz many complai... moreyeah but wid d froyo update,d battery is honestly increased n d android runs on d fone very smooth.
Abt d wave,well dats ur choice,some say its a powerhouse,a blend of multimedia n proffessional features,but if u dont lyk it den leave it.
Android is an open source platform n is definitly d leader in d future n is backed by d internet giants google,so it would b beneficial in d future.
Now bet d iphone n n8,
n8 is only gr8 if u do a lot of clicking n video recording which u dont,apart frm dat n8 is slow wid an 600 something processor,less ram,less apps,lesser brighter display overall on paper n pretty much beaten up by d iphone.
N8 has usb on d go ,sounds gr8,but hardly a deal breaker.
U if u dont lyk android at all,den go for d iphone,though bear in mind dat apple always control dere devices tightly n 1 is kinda lyk a slave 2 dem always.
P S-yes i dont lyk iphone but seeing ur requirements it suits u better dan d n8.

There is nothing to be devoted/loyal to a single brand. Technology is upgrading and we should decide a phone that best suits our needs,not because i have been using this for years and so I should keep on using it for the rest of my life. However,i want suggestion,I basically use my phone for browsing,lots of music and few games. I don't need a flash browser and 5MP is enough for me. I dont do much photography. Now plz suggest me a phone,N8 or iPhone 4???
P.S- I need good battery backup.

Apple have a new problem on it's hands it's called Glassgate.
The front and the back of the iphone which is made of glass have been reported to have cracked by 4% of iphone 4 owners Apple have reported.

[deleted post]Its taking so long for this phone to launch.and symbian^4 is already on its way by the beginning of 2011.so the price of N8 is gonna drop drastically after the release of symbian^4.dats what i hate about nokia.and iPhone has got dat attitude,no matter how bad it is.u know wat i mean@washiur
