Here's a review by pcworld on which has the superior camera. It's iphone4 vs android phones. Out of 4 phones, galaxy s ranked 4th place. And guess who's in 1st place? The ip4 :)

Kath, 03 Aug 2010The Apple iPhone 4 the phone to beat??
Not long ago that... moreYes, the iphone is still the phone to beat. The only reason why android has a bigger market share is because it is utilized by multiple phones in multiple price categories.
There's no way that galaxy s have beaten the ip4. Ip4 still outsells galaxy s.
Ip4's display is still better than galaxy x's amoled overall. It may not need itunes, but it would still need something else to sync its music library from. And the ip4 beats the galaxy on camera features. Also, the ip4 has more apps. Videos and songs on the iphone would always have better quality because they are PURCHASED. Unlike videos and songs loaded into your galaxy which wgo knows where it came from.
Android beats ios in market share, but galaxy is not android. It's just one device that uses android.
The iphone is still the leader.

Engineer Man, 03 Aug 2010@Peter. I can point out a lot more flaws than that. It o... moreWhat you're doing is, creating flaws for the ip4. You lose warranty on any device the moment you tamper with it. Not just on the iphone. You also risk any device to damages when you tamper with it. Not just the iphone. The iphone has several web browser apps. You don't have to use safari if you don't like it. Although I don't see any reason to change browsers. There are a lot of search engines available for the iphone. There's google, bing and yahoo for instance. So again you are wrong. Videochat is availabe on fring for 3g, and then there's facetime with better quality videochat over wifi. Microsim works fine, so why are you complaining? The iphone's camera is awesome. It produces photos comparable to standalone cameras with higher megapixels. Your complaints are irrelevant to us. How can you call a device that's always out of stock a mass failure? Lol. Your n8 will not sell as many as the ip4, while the ip4 is already enjoying a huge success.

Also, you can always jailbreak your iphone if you are into heavy customization. The iphone is doing just fine in its own world. You on the other hand seem to be bothered by the iphone's success. Most high end phones use capacitive touch, not resistive. Even your upcoming n8 :) So I guess you cannot use your nails on your n8 either.

Android is so customizable, this is where all the geeks inc me are. Iphones are for people who don't understand tech, soc, hal, cpu, or anything of that nature not neccessarily in that order lol. Android will approach & proceed the Iphone in the apps department. Don't you worry. Some better specification phones & software. I mean for limitless communication between the najor dekstop Os's forget Iphone, you need symbian or Android - compatibility wise, The iphone flls down when you start mentioned those nice long lists of application file type format, extensive format support, media format, audio, plus it's poor in the application protocol layer. When it come to protocol it's missing lots of things it's important. What happened to multiple rss feed, widgets, app shortcuts. Iphone can't customize any form of these anywhere near as good as Android, now S^3 is proceeding Iphone in that arena. I can use my nails on my resistive touchscreen let alone a capacative that isn't as friendly on the iphone, has to be specific finger touches. I think I just nailed teh problem right there with apple. They define the word SPECIFIC. Specific only to anything apple.

@Peter.
I can point out a lot more flaws than that. It only toom me 3mins to type all those flaws out acually. Now you mention it though, it you Jailbreak your Iphone, you invalidate your warranty, poor iphone users, again you also run the risk of destroying the iphone so it won't work again, you run the risk of breaking a fair few applications, then you'll have to spend all your spare time, like you have it to fix those apps, but then doing that can also muck other things up. Way to go Iphone fans. I'm glads I'm not you. My Nokia just works, man I can attach mp3 ringtones without having to do ANYTHING. The web browser can't even be changed, neither can the search engine. Heck your so unfortunate. WHo the heck wants to videochat only over wifi only to other Iphones, what about ppl who own a phone other than Iphone. MAN you come right out of a comic book, you ppl. Want me to go on... Microsim fails, no MicroSD transflash, shame the lens is a great lens but was restricted to 5Mp unlinke the N8, they allowed that optical lens to get 12Mp, at teh same UM size pixels. How about dropped calls, also have any of you had you iphone thinkk your not holding your face to phone. Well, how bout SMS, bt2.0 transfers etc... LOL sorry the phone ias a mass failure at least Nokia put them in the public domain for testing. Apple should aswell. Oh wait I forgot they can't do that. This changes everything AGAIN for the worse. Goodbye enjoy worrying about all the simple functionalities which are non existent. Heck even multitasking, sorry that ain't native either apple users. Go & find out what NATIVE MULTITASKING ACTUALLY IS. You'll qiuckly find out it's not what your Iphone is employing. Too bad.
