Not quiet sure why it says "iPhone". anyone else know? its an ipod touch. that is of course if you dont have a bumper.

If you live in US , think again before getting it. But if you live in other countries, you should not worry about the reception problem.
Do you hear other than US complaining about the reception after few weeks of launcing it ??
The antenna problem only confines in US. Wew dont have probelm in other countries. All the experts findings are made when they are in US. Do any experts have the same antenna problem in other countries......do anyone ever read one ???

I am a galaxy user.
The big broafd shape makes your finger strains if you're a heavy user.
When holding trying touching your thumb to the button below. It get very awkward and your finger easily strain. No flash and cheap plastic material.
If you're a eavy user , dont get galaxy. Go for iphone or Wave.

.......the reception strength has to do with both the phone, service provider, area with weak signal....... i'm just not an iphone fan. Before i buy a product, i have to read the consumer reviews, opinions, ect. You don't want to regret after the bought it. nice day all

Roe, 03 Aug 2010Ive persoanlly used this device and the death grip is real ... moreI am so glad there is a user here with a good sense of common logic, well done mate you said it in one paragraph, how crappy the reception is, I agree the 3GS is really good and not a big leap going to ip4, so everyone should stick with their 3GS if they have a common sense, or get yourself another phone, which there are amaizing choices out there at the fraction of price.
The recal estimated to cost 1.4 billion dollor for apple, so that is why its not going to happen and they come up with crappy plastic solution which itself show how serious the problem is,!
Drop calls, bad reception, crappy plasrtic round your phone, who wants that?!

I'm really confused. There's a lot of iPhone 4 haters as well as supporters here. Plus quite a number of people are complaining about the reception problem but on the other hand, there are some who don't even face this problem.
I don't know which to believe. Should i get an iPhone 4 or not?
Another question, for those people who have reception problem, does the bumper really fix that problem?

Ive persoanlly used this device and the death grip is real and a serious recall issue, I mean it's a phone reception is the main part and we get a crappy bumper! seriously for the price you pay that's a joke!
I dont hate this phone the screen is is rather good but there is absolutly nothing this phone can do that a jailbroken 3gs can't! It's not a amazing leap in technology it's just apple regurgitating technology they had 2 years ago I mean common 5 megapixel cam and video calling off wi fi only none the less, this stuff has been around for ages save your money until they give us a real leap in tech something that isn't just a brand name.

As most will agree, the iPhone 4 is the best phone you can get today. Period. Having owned one now for the last few days, all I can say is that the user experience is second to none. You won't find a single Android device with this level of usability in the UI.
The hardware is also very well designed. Despite the accusations of those who claim the death grip kills all iPhone 4s, I can't bring my bars down if I try. In fact, the reception and call quality is even better than my 3GSs quality was.
All in all, this is an across the board upgrade for any phone owner. Although Android is looking better and better, the iPhone is still the phone to beat.
