Apple Fans stop being so ingnorant. This is Apples design fault & they chose to go ahead & integrate knowing full well the stupid design was going to be floored & BTW stop pointing your fingers in BIAS at left handed people. How stupid.
Also apple grow up & stop blaming other manufacturers, you source their parts & then shoot them. No wonder other manufacturers hate you. They don't blame YOU when when a design fault occurs they own up to it because they are manly. Apple doesn't decides that it they blame other manufactuerers because they can't put together a phone properly. Maybe you haven't the expertise.
You are building up a reputation of HATE all around the world. Frankly Apple deserve to be slated & they can dissapear from the world because unlike apple fans I know what to expect from software & apple sadly can't be called software but crapware & don't be fooled into buying a piece of crap coding.
If apple can't write their OS to run flash stably & successfully but others can - Ask this - What does this say about your crap coding? Even the most basic functions that any sub par OS would have integrated properly over 4 years ago, what was apple doing?
So get a life apple fans & I'm sure you'll discover a better OS where things actually work properly & give you the freedom & easy intuitive use. How easy can Android get. If that's still too hard for ya then you don't understand & are so drawn into the apple web of deceit, & you'll never listen & you'll never grow up & accept defeit of something better.
Android is catching up & soon you won't have a leg to stand on when Android's app market is up & running & integrated into the device firmware, we will see flash & HTML5 support from someone who knows how to write a proper OS that can btw multi task & videocall through 3g & wifi with no limitation, send an sms message properly & assign mp3 contact ringtones.
How about that applefans, do you sleep in a tent all your life. Come out of your bubble & see what other OS's have to offer you why don't you! BTW android is intuitive & just as easy as apple to use. Half lame attempts to stun the world with something new is old strateegy & people will be soon be privy to operations apples software can't do...

Antenna problem is more that just holding it by left hand, I have come a cross many firends who are the diehard fans for apple and they wemt for this phone, and all of them telling me they experience DROP calls more that they ever experience with their 3GS!!, You would almost get zero signal once hold by left hand , I checked that myself. sadly some fans don't want to accept the reality, which is sad, this include Steve Jobs, who tried to play this down by unsuccessfully trying to compare it with other phomes, sadly he failed. Good luck to all the fans and happy phone calls!!

have had mine for a week now and not likeing it, just played with the htc desire and sad to say that Android OS is so much better, wish i could change it but now stuck with apple for 24 months :(

It looks that all the fuss with iPhone's antenna defect just helps to grow the popularity of Apple brand. Could it be another trick of Steve?

I got my iPhone 4 a couple of weeks ago today so have had extensive playtime/use of the handset. I haven't had any problems with the signal or the way i use the handset! There are alot of people out there bad mouthing a product they haven't even used. I work for a mobile phone retailer so i have used alot of phones over the year and since having my iPhone 3G i can't see me using another manufacturers handset. The iPhone 4 blows the 3G handset and even the 3GS handset away in every respect. It's alot faster, the screen is beautiful to look at, the camera is on par with the 12 Megapixel on the Sony Ericsson Satio and the apps just keep getting better and better! Now i know alot of people say the Android handsets are better due to them having albeit not as many apps but they are getting there, but i find the iPhone alot easier and more pleasurable to use! This is obviously my opinion and no doubt people will slate me for it but in all honesty, if someone asks me whats the best phone out now i have to say iPhone 4 and the other manufacturers will struggle to topple it!
Also, on the issue of the signal, like i say, my handset hasn't had any dropped calls so i'm not too bothered about the free case, but if it's free then why not, i'm not too keep on covering up the beautiful design of the handset though!

New Hardware like the Antenna can cause fear, especially if the design is patented ,Apple have just owned all the other makes that have obvious issues without this design as the videos showed all the other phone makes having signal problems. Apple didn't show a video of the iphone4, because as they claimed there isn't an issue like the rest of the brands.
Be as jealous as you like, that antenna is patented

m not an iphone user i think if there are so many complaints apple should return everybodys money cause all are in warranty period..to save its name..hearing so many details in cnn,news papers etc..i once had samsung j210,it had some problems which couldnt b cured so they gave the whole money back which is good...i know if apple will do the same it'll have to shed millions but is it the loyal iphone consumers fault??????
