Holding it properly I've had no issues, so agree.
Judging from the video Apple showed the others phones are actually having the issue.

After reading around. Antenna may have issues in low signal areas. Seems to be more of a problem in US maybe due to AT&T. There are reports of it in other countries, but not so much.
My feeling, its not really an issue, but I say this only because of the refund option. You have a month to test it basically.
My suggestion is the following:
1. Buy it and try it, if you are interested. If it works fine, great. If not, you have refund options etc. If you are the type to use with a case, then there is no problem since they are giving a free case with it.
2. If you are not in a hurry, then wait. Assuming you are not in the US, UK, or France etc. Wait for the official launch in your country. Things may change between now and then.
My personal experience. I have no problems with my iPhone 4. It is working perfectly fine.
