• FaceTime video calls work only over Wi-Fi

Why, nearly all don't, like the front camera

Steve said it was dangerous. you could be listening to the radio and miss a warning horn.

this isn't a home cinema, if it did, you'd say why not 5.1, if it did, then why not 7.2 etc etc.
• No microSD card slot
Steve Jobs said its obsolete and the memory is on
board phones now.32gb of it
• No smart dialing
Software can fix this, or an app
• Too dependent on iTunes for loading multimedia content

Just got the iphone 4 finally. its performing well using my suncell cutout sim. hehe The network signal performs normally just like with my old phone.

Well I'll definitely be on the lookout for more articles about that, and if that's confirmed to be a fact, I will be back at the genius bar for a replacement. I have till 7/24 to get a replacement. Although honestly, I am quite happy with the one I got.

good to see apple is fixing this issue few users i know have got iphones exchanged and now no signal issue what so ever. can't wait to buy my iphone.

It sucks. I flushed this handset in my toilet. none of the functions works properly. It is so slow. Damn, i can't even use internet. When I take a photo, the image comes blurr and looks like cartoon. I can't watch a porn movie properly. Music quality is very bad. shiiiiiiiiiittttt.
I feel sorry for those stupid people who have boight this handset.

reports say new iphone 4s just leaving apple factories are built different from all those released before.its got a new coating over the antena,at least these apple saps will have reception on their phone. Admitting a faulty design or sneakily covering up? Whats happens with the ones already sold?

Its is something they should do at the complete minium. Experts predicting a recall.....will be interesting to see what happens over the next fews day......appple to admit theyve sent a defective product out on the market....lets see what happens!

better i will go for Samsung galax S, its is cool mobile looks pretty too.

That's already been confirmed in many other articles a few days after the iphone4 was released. Don't act like it just came out and you only heard it first from CR.
It is also a known fact that a case can resolve the issue, which a lot of iphone users buy a case for their iphones anyway.
There won't be a recall. All cell phones have vulnerable spots. That's a fact of life with cell phones. Apple's design mishap was situating the antenna at a spot that's likely to be gripped and not coating the exposed antennas to avoid from shorting. A design mishap is not substantial reason for the court to order Apple for a recall, unless proved hazardous to consumers.
A case easily resolves the issue. Buying a case for a touchscreen phone is common, but it shouldn't be a must. With the iphone4's case, it leaves you little to no choice but to buy a case, which would disappoint some users who want to keep their iphone4 bare.
Since you pretty much HAVE to get a case for your iphone4. One thing that Apple could do to show consideration, is to give a $40 refund to all iphone4 users to compensate for the pretty much required case.

Just receive my iPhone today. No regrets whatsoever! Was worried when reading some comments here, but thankfully unfounded, in my case at least. Phone is a joy to hold, very beautiful and functions perfectly.
