Supposedly there will be update 4.0.1 released tomorrow. Hopefully this addresses the issues people are having as well as hammering out some of the minor quirks with ios 4.0.

Worst earphones to be ever supplied with a phone.... Moto and Sony supply way better earphones even 4 years ago.... To really experience the amazing sound you have to buy better quality earphones.

Geeshhh, the media people are really starting to get on my nerves.

There's another news on yahoo.  The title says "Apple Confronts PR Nightmare".  Reading the title of the headline, I thought that Apple finally gave a press release in response to all the attacks thrown at them.  Guess what?  It's the same death grip issue all over again, qouting the same old sources.  Nothing new.  And of course at the bottom of the article are the same arguments from haters and iphone4 users.

What is up with the media?  This is so messed up and is not fair for Apple.  The iphone4 is an awesome device.  Honest to goodness users are very happy with their iphone4, and the media just wants to sensationalize an issue and dwell on it to get both fans, haters and spectators tuned in and in turn get high ads revenue.  Messed up.  Really messed up.

I must say apple has done a great job getting people brand loyal to their brand. However; based on da reviews I still think the N900 is still a better machine. Having said dat I also love the delusional hype arround the iPhone as a brand, so I'm getting myself both phones.I hate the fact dat apple seems to be dicrediting or discouraging independent file sharing, I can't understand y it daz not have radio & flashplayer on da browser, y daz it not support DviX, don't they knw these features r important.Plz get me ryt, I'm not a hater, I like the brand, I'm also gonna get one but I think its plain stupidity on their part to leave thz features n more out.Apple daz not listen to da potential customers, they thnk they knw it all! But I must say they good in marketing, they brainwashed millions of easy souls to thnk they have the best phone, No ladies n gents, they have the coolest phone not the best, its cool to have an iphone, apple has taste not power & brains for reasoning. ENJOY YOUR IPHONE!

My iPhone 4 Reception is good since I bought it on June 24 onto this present moment without a single issue or drama. People can say whatever they want, that is their problem. I don't really care about all these false stories and negative releases about the iPhone 4. Those iPhone haters need to be careful of heart attack and high blood pressure.

Anonymous, 13 Jul 2010But you did have to have it replaced or returned as you jus... moreYou have to be reasonable.  The yellow spot or streak is an isolated case.  Not all iphone4's have yellow spots or streaks.  If all iphone4's have a permanent yellow streak, I would have returned it for a refund and kept my 3gs.  So I cannot really include that in my overall experience because I know that I can have it replaced with one with a flawless display.  A little common sense please.

Anonymous, 13 Jul 2010I tried to block my reception by holding both my phones eve... moreWell I tested it myself as well. The signal does drop the moment you short the antennas. But the weird thing is, when you are in an area where there's good at&t signal, the bar does not drop at all and stays full however you hold the phone. So there must be a software glitch like Apple said there is. As for the death grip, that's a non issue for me because I bought a caae for my iphone as I always had even with my 3g and 3gs.

A bummer for me would be, I didn't want a case for the iphone4 because it's beautiful as it is without a case and I enjoy looking at it, but because of the death grip issue, I got a case. Althought the case that I got for it looks really nice on my iphone4.

I doubt if there's going to be a recall, but Apple should reimburse all iphone4 users with a $35 check to compensate them for having to buy a case. Because buying a case, although common for touchscreen phone users, should still be an option, not a neccessity which in the iphone4's case it is.

Anonymous, 13 Jul 2010He has the iphone4 and mentioned he had the proximity issue... moreOh good. You've read my previous complaints when I first got my iphone4. I did have a yellow streak on my iphone4. I scheduled a genius bar appointment a week later and got a replacement. Now I am totally happy with my iphone4. More happy than the 3gs. But why is it that there seems to be a lot of attack towards the iphone4 when it's actually a much better device than the 3gs? It's because it's the most successful iphone. Others can no longer compete with it, so a good strategy is to destroy through negative publicity.

[deleted post]Yes there is a problem, and for the thousand times, I am not denying it. But I am also telling the truth that those problems doesn't affect my overall experience to a point that I would return my iphone. If it does for you, then by all means return your iphone4 for a refund and go ahead look for a perfect phone out there.

Yes, I haven't used Apple products as long as you have. But I know that Apple products work for me much better than the others. If something better for me comes along, I'll switch. That's the awesome thing with freedom of choice. So why does a smart folk like you use Apple products when for you it seems to be plagued with issues?

Iphone4 antenna is very vulnerable to sweat and water and probably dirt.its more exposed then any other phone antenna I've seen. Its also placed in the worst spot where people normally hold their phones from the bottom side.Who holds their phone from the top, nobody cause it looks gay.
