FACT1: Anybody who refuses to to give the Iphone some credit is denial. I can see a lot of Iphone haters are Nokia/symbian users. Been a Nokia user since the 3310, N97 is the reason I don't use Nokia any more I am now an Android user.
FACT2: Nokia themselves have conceded defeat in the high end sector hence have decided to mount a fight back " gonna need all the luck the N8 design is pretty dumb"
The one thing I like about the Iphone is the fact that you can actually see the evolution of the phone. With every new Gen came very subtle changes but that distinct iphone look remains, and that's probably one of the main reasons people love it so much. Nokia phones are here today gone tomorrow.
FACT3: Iphone has set the standard where touch screen smartphones are concerned, that's why we are always on the look out for that Iphone killer. From the N97 to the HTC Desire or EVO depending on where you are, "IS THIS THE IPHONE KILLER" the question was asked, I guess none of them were.
The Iphone may have reception issues but Nokia's are a whole lot worse N97 aka "worst phone ever" aka "how not to make a smartphone" and their market share is free fall right now, even crappy Samsung phones are doing better.

I also "kill" the apps each time I'm finished using them to try and keep battery life. Seems like it doesn't work, though. :/

I have a question about the battery... I got my iPhone 4 on launch day and the battery was my main concern, pretty much because when I updated my iPod Touch (3G) to iOS4 the battery went dead within 4 hours even if I didn't use it at all (this is with Push notifications turned off).
On my first charge, my iPhone 4 lasted 3 days and 9 hours on standby (with 5 hours and 20 minutes usage). The second time my iPhone 4 lasted 4 days and 12 hours standby (with 6 hours and 32 minutes usage). Both these times were with 3G and WiFi switched off. When I charged it lastnight, it stayed at 100% for 9 hours then I turned my WiFi and 3G on. Since my last charge, my iPhone has been going for 23 hours and 2 minutes and I have used it for 1 hour and 51 minutes and it's already down to 36% (keep in mind, 9 of those 23 hours I was not using it at all and it was still at 100% so basically my iPhone has went from 100% to 36% in 14 hours). I have Push Notifications turned off and haven't been using it all that much and it's gotten so low! Is this normal because personally I find it absolutely ridiculous! Why is the battery so bad?! I haven't left the house today so it's been connected to WiFi all day and wouldn't have used 3G since it cancels out when you're connected to WiFi. Seriously, what's wrong with my iPhone?! It's going the same way as my iPod Touch only it's lasting a little longer. Anyone been having similar problems? My iPhone contract lasts for 24 months and if the battery continues to be this bad then I won't be able to keep it because everyone knows batteries just get worse as time goes on and if it's this bad now, I'd hate to see what it'd be like in a years time! I need a phone that lasts! Is this supposed to be the way an iPhone battery goes because this is my first one?

I will not get the iphone 4, not through jelousy or hating people who have one. I sell all phones for work and the iphone 4 {not 4g so please stop calling it that} brings nothing new to any phone function {factime, brilliant!!!!!} the 1.7 million people have paid and will continue to pay for marketing, fashon and adverts. It does feel like a quility phone though so I see why people go for it, as I did with the 3gs and have been very happy with my choice.
To finish off, phone choice is a very individual thing like cloths. some follow trends and other prefer function over form. I hate nobody for their phone choice

So what is apples agenda. To seed, grow & blossom lots of little apple sheep everywhere.
Can I just say that everytime I eat a good apple it tastes nice & sweet & ripe just like a nice apple pie, but whenever I get a bad apple I throw it away because it's bad to the core & sometimes I accidentally throw the wrong apples away. HAHAHA hehehe

I dont worry about iphone problem coz it is juz over, coz all those problem phones have been sold,Hehe !! if i need to buy iphone 4 in my country i need to wait around 2 - 3 month for the carrier to support iphone 4 ,by the meantime we juz sit and wacth, then later we will buy !!

ionel, 05 Jul 2010I don't understand why people are so crazy about this signa... moreIt's a software issue. There's nothing wrong with the iphone4's antenna. Haters, and the media, who are probably paid by Apple's competitors, are the ones pressing that the iphone's design is flawed, when it's not.
A software update is coming out soon, and that should fix this signal drop issue.

The only reason iphones sell to their millions is because there are millions of people who got brainwashed into believing that whatever apple introduces is the best there is in the market. However to me these people are people who cannot be bothered to check out the competition because they know that there are much better phones out there much cheaper than the iphone. FACE THE TRUTH IT WON'T BITE YOU IT WILL BITE APPLE
