This is what is missing iphone people. Take a look at this link. Then see if you change your minds into what you have bought yourselfs. Overprices, over useless, under specced software & hardware.

Yeah that's true. Heres just a few features still missing in the IOS4 software.
With the web it doesn't do text reflow, audio/video streaming, doesn't have flash or flash lite, doesn't have push idle so battery drains fast even on push, the alternative is fetch which drains the batter even faster. Doesn't have push email if your jailbroken even if you pay!. Doesn't process HTML still properly.
There is still no file managemnet features which include access in IOS4 to access your internal folders by any means, no app in the Istore allows it either!, you can't have mp3's as ringtones WT!, IOS4 doesn't include MIDP/JAVA support DivX, XviD, FLV native video. IOS4 can't handle ZIP, RAR, or SFX again no app in the Istore allows this.
IOS4 can't handle the following networking & connectivity features. Videocall via the network (3G UMTS, HSDPA...)A2DP routing stereo sound within videos & games over blutooth due to lack of "Native Multitasking support". Bluetooth AVRCP isn't fully industry standard so some headsets will changes tracks but others won't work at all. IOS4 doesn't support any bluetooth services when pairing with apples own Macbook!. There is no Blutooth file sharing support! LMAO HAHA
Ok. User interface is even worse, no themes support, no scalable OS, appls in the Ipad are simply stretched to fit, so will have black nadning bars & they will use more battery life while aspect ratio is screwed to high heaven to play back the file in hte proper format. There is no IOS4 desktop, entire UI is organized as a single "start" menu. IOS4 doesn't include parallex (finger/screen offset) adjusting - low precision especially on small objects.
The Iphone IOS4 SDK limitations are completely an example of closed platform proprietary indecenc such as no native multitasking, aps have to be specially coded to even handle fake multitasking, btw the first multitasking device was born in 1993. Other things the SDK limits are frankly extremely obsurd. No cross compiling, no open development, no proper application security, any non Istore app can damage your phone for good. No power optimization, the Iphone4 device overheats as admitted by apple.
Some misc features missing from IOS4. No fine details in pictures, introducing high noise reduction smears the finer details, with smudge, grainy looking images. No video stabilzation, no ISO control for the light sensitivity function for the camera lens in IOS4....
How many more can we thing of? hmmm. Ahh IOS4 can't handle handwriting, some other basic functionality is missing such as sending contacts vis Bluetooth, to do applications missing, save web pages, missing, calendar view week view is missing etc... it doesn't have any freeware, Itunes treats free applications like purchases + FairPlay DRM wrap. No user privacy neither online shopping, nor for visited web sites.
SO Yes the Iphone sadly misses a lot of features & functionalities from the IOS4 Operating system this is also because the Iphone 4 hardware technology can't cope with some software functionalities that other OS's require as native standard from the hardware.

Here' proof of how far iphone haters would go just to give the iphone4 bad publicity. A fake Steve Jobs twitter account that posted of a recall of all iphones. And worst, the media even used it in their news as if its legitimate. Here's the link.

Engineer Man, 28 Jun 2010Yes I heard the phone stopped booting after the second or t... moreAnd here you are again repeating what's already been said. I don't think any of us bought any of our devices to play "let's drop our phone" game. It is glass. And no matter how durable it is, it would still break if you keep on dropping it, especially intentionally. It's the price and risk we have to take in exchange of a beautiful device. Obviously, there are millions of us risk takers. The iphone4 is a piece of art. The precision, materials, and design that they poured into the iphone4 is unquestionably the best in the market. Only a hater like you would think otherwise.

[deleted post]Are you making your own press release now for Apple? It is a software issue after all and not hardware. It seemed hardware at first, but based on further testing, it turned out to be a software issue. And I think that's the reason why you are not happy with that fix because you don't want it fixed right? That figures :)

Until you find out that apples claim of reinforced 30% stronger glass is actually not true. He claims he can drop it from afar & not break. The real truth is it's made from more plastic glass, but actually more plastic than glass. haha which actually hugeley roughens the phone on first impact, stops working after the second impact, & the third impact the glass completely shattered. So is it really built with 30% reinforced more toughened glass strengthened material. No the damage & build quality is actually clearly worse than the second gen iphone. I'v droped my nokia outside more than that (5800) & it continues to work on concrete aswell. lol. Looks like apple need to go back & re assess impact zones, tougher testing & quality control while their at it, & also try going through proper FCC regulations aswell before it can claim that much. I'n merely telling facts here. Good to see it blend though. niiiiice

IPHONE, 28 Jun 2010The iphone 4 is the best phone on the market, everything ab... morethe phone does not have real multitasking. It pauses apps in the background and then resumes them when you switch back. Just because it has a task switcher does not mean it has multitasking.
HD recording, Yea it's becoming standard on high end phones now. Facetime for now will not work unless you are within the range of the wifi and the person on the other end has the same phone. Wifi access points are not in abundance to the point where you can switch from one access point to the other whilst on the move. And most access points are password protected.
Open your eyes and stop bumming the iphone.

Yes I heard the phone stopped booting after the second or third drop. One of the so called lucky apple fanboys (nooooot) who was one of the first to get his phone wrote to steve jobs to complain that he can't use it in his left hand. Jobs literal letter an quote "You'll just have to find another way to use it"................!!!!!!!!
Steve Jobs can fly to hte moon & never return with as many Iphones as he wants, alternativley any unhappy people mivng apple campl write a letter to Tom Dickson at www.willitblend.com to sleep better than you phone will never cause you any trouble again. hehe

another simple phone and quit empty of apps.
but....at least it can make phone calls and send texts.
unless you buy a lot of apps.LOOOL.
by the way....a lot of people should be informed that an iphone can be used to watch movies, listen to music, surf the web, and a few more things....and not only as a "symbol" of pseudo social status.
Apple should make a very basic and simple cellphone version for ignorant iphone addicted people, but that don´t know how to use it apart from making calls and texts.
(i´ve seen to many people buying it just to look fashion but don´t have a clue of what it can do.....even with just the few apps it comes with.)
