GSMArena! You should test for antenna issues in all your reviews!! I dont see a rating for how good the reception is on a phone! With or without hands holding it a certain way.

Got mine on Friday. No reception issues. Nice user interface. This afternoon I decided to swop with my wife and get my 2 month old Blackberry Bold 9700 back. It is just better at being a business phone than a iPhone4

the iOS 4 is a step in the right direction. It’s by no means revolutionary, compared to what contemporary smartphones can do. But it finally brings some long overdue features like homescreen wallpapers, accelerometer lock, multitasking, SMS search and character counter, threaded email, a common email inbox, iPod playlist management, etc.
There are still things missing though – tighter social networks integration, richer lockscreen functionality, dropdown with quick toggles for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other features, and even custom SMS tones, if you like.

Iphone is the best.
And the best phone when held in a wrong manner CAN'T receive signals.
Oh goodness good thing i bought nokia 1202 at least it has flashlight and i can hold it freely without any rules to follow.

this phone is design of the year if samsung would start and make from metal and tough glass i would say they would rob apple of a lot off custom ..ps sammy do bulid a good phone if the galaxy had of been tougher and a flash i think i would not have looked twice at a apple iphone 4 ...but so far this iphone has impressed me no issues with reception at&t must be like o2 crap...vodafone number 1 for me

looks like the old iphone just tweeked and a few bits added nothing that good but then again you not get a good phone call as it will lose the signal shame.
and i know some one who has the iphone 4 and he discribed it as shit and selling it on sticking with his old phone as it works :)

Video callling over wifi?? WTF!! Wifi hot spots arent very big. Maybe Apple thought that maybe people are to lazy to walk over to their friends who are in the same wifi hotspot will benefit from it, if their friends happen to have a iphone4. I wont be getting one because I won't be able to video call my relatives in Australia like I can with my 5 year old Motorola E1000.

This is their 4th attempt at making a handset, and still they cannot get the basics up to scratch.
Just coming into current technology by adding a flash for the camera but then have the most fundamental design flaw, it fails to be a PHONE if you hold it in a normal manner.

Easily, Because Iphone4 is the thinnest smartphone in the world, Hold the most pixels on screen than any h/set in the world, Best touch screen, all other h/sets are fiddely, 1st iphone to do video calling over the wifi, User friendly, I could go on for ever, All the other smartphones looka like a bricks and it can't compete with the iphone 4.
What h/set do you recon can beat the Iphone4?
I'm hoping you don't say the N8 because Sony Ericsson Vivaz beats the N8 hands down if it was running the symbian 3 software on it :-)

too bad people who own iphone don't have flash support ha ha =P..android and meego are much better but of course, because they both are different category from iphone they are smartphone/multimedia phone

i have tried holding my iphone like in the videos .. no loss off reception...no yellow spots maybe the peoples retinas have yellow spots

The mobile has lots of Apps which are useful to mobile power users but you have to buy them where Andrid or Symbian mobiles give those same apps for free. The app store is large enough but the Apps are repeated again and again so they are of no use and no one on this earth uses all of the apps. And the user interface is not much exiting like before when other mobiles did'nt have the high user interface and screens but other mobiles like Sony Ericsson X10 and other phones are giving much exiting and better user interface nowadays. When we buy an Iphone is just spend of money for life time.
