I held the phone in my hand today and was not impressed. the quality of the screen looked normal to me. and despite the whole aluminium and glass talk it looks average. i was surprised to find a lot of smudges on it. Oh and the thinness is nothing to rant on about. I held an e72 and found it to be more visually pleasing. The os also looked the same except it could multitask. I was not impressed. This has nothing to do with being a fan.

Rubbish I have tested the new Iphone and I will say this if you are a Lefty there will be no problems BUT almost 80 % of us are right handed the new Iphone is rubbish . You cannot hold the Iphone otherwise then with the left hand in the left bottom corner when you surf the web or play something on it ...so you will be very impressed by the grafik and screen and you will lose any contact .

And for those haters who constantly post in here. Get a life. You guys obviously are not getting the iphone, so why do you guys even bother with it here? All of us have our own different issues that we deal with on our phones. Some laggy OS, some freezing up, some unresponsive screens, some poor legibility ourdoors, some poor web browsing experience, some poor build. So yes, no phone is perfect no matter how hard they try to make it perfect for their users. Nothing wrong with bringing it up, but there's certainly something wrong with hating it as if you have a perfect device in your hands.

i think this phone wont be good,just adding a 5mp will not improve it,we'v got sick of the same phone just adjusting it every 2-3 years.by nokia we sell the best phones for all kind of people and we have moderated price not like the apple phones.

Shit man, I would rather waited for the new ipod touch which will be iPhone minus the Phone. No point of paying for iphone which behave like ipod touch.
Hope Apple instead of making unimaginable profits, spend some money and effort to correct the thing, else have to wait for June 2011. Where I waited 3 years one year more does not make a difference, by then they will at least bring out a quality iphone

if u guys remmeber when panasonic came with first camerca phones than later on they just got collapsed same thing is goona happen to apple in next few year they goona go down.. 2g>>>diffrent design 3g>>>3gs better camera and video>>>4g video call..next1 water proof lol with too much problem alreay ppl dont think abut it but apple just want to sell and make money like they bring the bumper case thats not a concidence they knew it and u ppl have to buy it to get a proper reception

this new iphone 4 isn't as good as i thougt.
no signal, and collourd spots.
i am glad i didn't bought it and just keeped my 3G.

Another application rejected from the app store today.
"Apple app store today rejected the "Left-handed user application" for use during phone calls. But App Store officials quickly pointed out the "Right-handed user application" was already in use and the "Left-handed app" would duplicate functionality.
Steve also mentioned that he wanted to keep user experience smooth and seamless with all apple products."
Mixed signals amongst "Left handed app" developers. Some were upset cause they spent 15+ years using their left hand while others felt it gave them the best smartphone UI experience ever.

My lil sis just got a nokia 5530 which costs about 3and half times less than this unit. It doesn't have reception issues. Neither does it have a high sars value.
Apple should stop giving excuses and own up to their mistake. They should recall the damned thing. Its not just the signal reception issue. Their so called hardened glass seems to have a problem with the sidewalk at a height of 1m. While a plastic panel would get scratched at worst, their so called hardened glass shatters.
I'm 100 percent sure the antenna issue is not a unit specific problem as jobs supposedly replied emails with the response. 'don't hold it that way'. Wtf?
