Another application rejected from the app store today.
"Apple app store today rejected the "Left-handed user application" for use during phone calls. But App Store officials quickly pointed out the "Right-handed user application" was already in use and the "Left-handed app" would duplicate functionality.
Steve also mentioned that he wanted to keep user experience smooth and seamless with all apple products."
Mixed signals amongst "Left handed app" developers. Some were upset cause they spent 15+ years using their left hand while others felt it gave them the best smartphone UI experience ever.

sherif, 25 Jun 2010i can't believe people are making such a big deal about the... moreIts a big deal considering how much you pay for an ijunk. My lil sis just got a nokia 5530 which costs about 3and half times less than this unit. It doesn't have reception issues. Neither does it have a high sars value.
Apple should stop giving excuses and own up to their mistake. They should recall the damned thing. Its not just the signal reception issue. Their so called hardened glass seems to have a problem with the sidewalk at a height of 1m. While a plastic panel would get scratched at worst, their so called hardened glass shatters.
I'm 100 percent sure the antenna issue is not a unit specific problem as jobs supposedly replied emails with the response. 'don't hold it that way'. Wtf?

The old shape was much nicer, screen feels small even if it's same size and dont see the point in retina display if its adding to weight which is noticeably more than 3GS. Disappointing

Thats it! For days I have been defending the iPhone as mine was working fine! But today, I held using the direction of Steve Jobs and found the the signal bars completely disappeared! Funny though, I never dropped the call and the line actually sounded better! This is scary! I have also thought through the entire incident and realized that when someone is telling me to hold my phone the "right" way, he is taking away my freedom and right to choose how to hold my phone.. Case or not, this is nuts! Im done!

What a load of crap. A 700 Euro phone that SUCKS at being a phone. Signal reception got WORSE instead of better. Thank you lord for not letting me buy this. OMFG.

Recieved iphone 4 on Thursday morning, can only say its excellent, have in past owned many phones inc Nokia's, Samsung's and LG, this handset is head and shoulders above anything else currently available

why when nokia released the N76 with the paint peeling problem you didn't make such a big deal about it

why when nokia released the n97 with a buggy software you didn't make such a big deal about it
why when nokia released the 8800 series with a ridiculous price and poor specs you didn't make such a big deal about it
why when samsung released the omnia HD with audio recording problems you didn't make such a big deal about it

If you spend your whole life on ur phone get the Iphone 4. If you just want a phone which u use for its purpose, and fancy a decent camera, and ocasionally need to use internet. Get the N8.

I've not had this problem with my Iphone regarding the Anthenna so i'm feeling lucky.
