Very nice phone but i would not buy it for one main reason.The micro sim does not allow me to switch to my other high end Gsm phones when ever i want to.

Imagine buying a car and then being told that because you want to use the passenger seat you have to pay extra. Using the radio will cost you more too, as will using the trunk, oh wait you didn't mention you wanted to use the back seat too, that will cost you more money. Then the next day you have to pay again because you are going in a different direction, so that will cost you more money for sitting in the drivers seat let alone using fuel.Plus when you open up the hood you find it isn't that special of a car.
That is the iphone experience.
If you are charging big bucks then make it worth while or if you want people to shell out more bucks at yet another update keep stringing people along and never give them the goods.

I loved the part of the advert where Steve said "We have integrated the antenna... into the phone" LOL, have not seen an antenna on a phone in years for anything

is iphone 4 compatable with windows 7?? i recently got new laptop and my old iphone 3g wont work with it as it is windows 7. does anyone else have this problem? does iphone 4 work with windows 7? i love my iphone and badly want 2 upgrade but not sure if it works with windows 7?

Why WW 3 start every time when somebody think different than Steve Jobs? It's not allowed to think with my own head?
Calm down people. Its true that we are not all rocket scientists or even IT literate. You must understand that most of the Apple users cannot make difference between any of the gadgets.
Steve Jobs does not lie only on one thing: Apple products are simplify and adapted for low end user, and I mean really low, so much that even offend the average user.
Therefore always will be iboys in this discussion who acting like Steve Jobs parrot. Repeating over and over his words "perfect, best, exquisite, unique etc"
What they really do is hiding the truth that they bought iPhone for one and one reason only! To get status symbol for money. This become so obvious on Steve last presentation. He used all this glorifying and fancy words to convince potential buyers and so few to present real values of the re invented 3GS.
Even so. What I really do not understand is: Is it worthy throw away 1K for same product, basically just a toy, with minor cosmetic changes only? I think NOT!
Struggle to prove otherwise is just desperate attempt to justify money buying status.

people dont seem to get the term premium brand. Its price is above its worth to some and spot on for others, i dont buy 100 quid levi jeans i buy 6 quid primark jeans, they both can look same, i dont see point in paying for items like that.
i will however pay for a phone that gives a good internet experience and evokes ooh and ahs from people and that has a large app store.
what nokia generates a buzz? what sony ericsson?
HTC Desire does, iPhone does, Blackberry 8520 does

Yes very expensive phone ,and i don't know about the wireless i had iphone 3gs it had very weak signal for wireless sometimes it didn;t find wireless at all i don't know about this one.

Noone can fault the after care of apple it is better than any other phone company. you can call people isheep all you want people buy it because it is a great phone no other phones can equal it for all round greatness.

Your iphone costs less than half its retail price to make. If something is cheap, iphone is it. No new technology, cheapest hardware ever, worst customer service. But isheep are happy to pay out their behind, so i guess its ok. Just dont tout it as a breakthrough phone, because it isnt that.

about that girl who has lodt his data,you can not blame it on the phone.blame the person 'cause you will also lose ur data if the phone is stolen,if you drop it very bad,if you pour liquids on it and make it short circuted or... . there was a time when Iphone and Nokia N95 made a difference in phone market but after recent years and the huge development in both hardware and software allaround the phone manufactorers,i think it would be hard time for any phone including Iphone to have a huge success and get the world in their hands.ofcourse in my opinion these conditions is directly in favoure of the end product consumers and we all benefit from it 'cause we have alot of choices wich are more suited to our needs.so let the companies do the fight and make better phones for us who pay the price of their both successes and failures
