Hey, the moment someone else releases a phone that I like more than the iphone, I'll switch. And I don't care who made it. Your comments are far from being polite opinions buddy. They're hateful. You don't care how people spend their money. That is not why you are here. You are here to discourage people to buy the iphone and hope that they would buy the device that you prefer :)

If a new phone from nokia, samsung or sony ericsson has a 5 megapixel camera everyone is disappointed with it. Yes they're right, 5megapixel is a bit disappointing for today's phone. But when a new iphone has 5 megapixel camera all the ifans will go crazy and says that 5 megapixel is 'revolutionary' and 'magical'. This says alot about the standard the companies set.

Ok, well so now Apple IPhone 4 pricing in Europe has been announced.

I am just confused whether to go in for IPhone 4/ Nokia N8/ Nokia X6/ SE Xperia 10 Mini or maybe ssome other Android phone.

But over time I am sure, very soon i would be able to make up my mind.

And people if you feel IPhone 4 is too expensive, then pls dont complain about it, b'coz over time, the prices wud drop.

Meanwhile, u can go ahead with IPhone 3GS or some Android ph or else something in Nokia.

Options are always there.

U say the galaxy s ..... moreTotally agree with you, saw the galaxy S today and zaped with its gorgeous screen and under the sun it was still the same....If today there is any all rounder phone in terms of hardware & OS then it is Samsung galaxy S and HTC EVO. But only disadvantage is the OS update will take edges due to the UI customization. All benifit from the new 2.2 OS will come very late. But once Window mobile is here and combined with the great hardware of samsung, Nokia, LG & HTC will make a deadly combination. And this time uncle bill will make no mistake like he did with Window 5,6 when there was not much competition. I would have prefered Samsung Galaxy S with vanilla android so that all fixes, new features will come automatically over the air. If you have hold that phone it feels bit plastic and cheap. Not even like the quality of Samsung omnia II. Also back cover is like out of place, but that will get covered if you use a cover.

Have seen people changing 3-4 phones in a year, just because they can aford it. Most of the countries have contract phones and it is like you are paying monthly installment on a phone. Actually it feels cheaper like that. If you do not have contract phones in India then you can buy it on 1-2 year installment if any big retail shops are offering, belive me it is similar to what these mobile operator do. I can afford to buy on contract in Singapore where it is even free on two year contract. But I prefer to buy with no string attached, you can say it is stupidity but I like to remain non commited.

kiddo, 15 Jun 2010if you want to judge a phone on its camera you should proba... morei had my iphone 3g .. 2nd hand .. It was good only on the screen thing ... Looks nice .. But where is the multi task .. And this cost me 350$ ... I speake about the price this time ... Multi task is there .. But i need to sell my body parts to get my hands layed on it ... Only for a os and display ... Might get it after a year if lunched in india ... Ma 5800 is doin good at this time ....

I avoided buying apple because of the hardware and the OS limitation that Apple ignored until now....

Spend 1300SGD when HTC touch cruise was launched and then moved to Samsung Omnia II picked up for 800SGD and now using E72(office) along with Omnia II. Finally with Apple 4 it is time for peoples like me who liked apple OS & stability, but didn't buy due to poor hardware specs will finally jump into the apple wagon this summer. The Price is out 760EURO i.e around 1300SGD same as the Touch cruise I bought 2 years back. ....I bought a ipod touch which I think is bit expensive but best served the purpose for which peoples out there bought the iphone . With iphone 4G I think now Apple is launching a better product (won't say the best yet) where people like me would finally merge their phone, ipod and camera into one and get the benefit of the Best OS. Window mobile coming this year will be in the same category where the OS will be strictly controlled and benefit from OS updates will be immediate over the air, unlike the Andriod phones (excluding Nexus) which take ages to get the next update due to the manufacture’ s customized UI.
For me the best feature that is introduced in iphone 4 are:
1/ Steel band which act as antenna, so no or few drop calls.
2/ Decent 5MP camera, no need to bump up pixels if it could not get a decent low light picture. LED flash I believe is useless in mobile phones when the subjects are beyond a 1-2 meter. Better go for technology that can boost picture quality without a Flash.
3/ HD Video which are now common on mobile phones.
4/ Display, if it is visible under sun as claimed. Should be at least like super AMOLED I saw today. Apple says it did not go for AMOLED as they could not get Samsung to commit sufficient number of screen for iPhone 4.
I am not listing multitasking as a feature in iphone 4 as it is a part of iOS 4
Rest of the features I am sure will be available in next version of ipod touch.
The only thing I hate about apple is that if you are on vacation take your computer with itunes loaded always. Apple have made tons of money out of the iPhone, now it is high time be little open and adapt popular market formats like it started using intel processors for the MAC and it did boost their sales.
