Anonymous, 15 Jun 2010Trap? Are you nuts? Lol. Hey, the moment someone else re... moreHave had an iPhone, Nokia, Samsung,BlackBerry and you know what?
I will never said to someone to buy any brand or model like you do.
I just express my opinion about Apple strategy to sell re-invented hot water (re invented 3GS again) and hopefully some of the newcomers will be smart enough to Google for money-quality best deal instead throw away 1K.
To be honest, iPhone do not deserve even prefix "smartphone" cause u can compare him only with Nitendo game boy. Insert program and play a game, although limited to Apple store only. Dumb phone basically with nice screen and with many limitations. Only Steve Jobs propaganda make him popular and that's only reason why people buy this toy.
They are convinced, by Steve marketing, that buying iPhone will buy them a ticket to become an IT wizard.
Typical Apple user is always in crusader war with computers or even with microwave.
One click only is their motto, everything more is tremendous headache.
Therefore iPhone 4 is nothing more than fancy toy adopted to IT low end user.
Struggle to prove otherwise is just desperate attempt to justify money buying status.

I'm so happy. At last after trying the whole day, I was able to reserve my 32gb black iphone4 to be picked up at Manhattan Beach Apple Store on the 24th. It may not be a preorder, but it's just as good. Just gotta make sure I pick it up on the 24th, and I wouldn't miss it for anything :)

This might be the greatest phone of all time. it may be like the Lion King of the mobile jungle but the only problem is this Lion comes(to India) caged(locked) by the operator ???

I think the fact is that no other brand managed to develope a phone as responsive as the iphone, using it makes sense, not like most of touch phones that are glitchy and try to look cool instead of work smooth. SMOOTH, that's the word.

for me iphone is perfectly good product... best in performance, software support and third party apps... there are just two things i hate 1. poor battery life. 2. too much restrictions (itunes dependent all the way) and priced so high. other than that everything else works perfectly well... guys stop arguing and yah nokia boy go to nokia forum instead of arguing here. yoy have to know that while iphone increases its market share and samsung and LG, nokia is dropping since last year lol...

MicroSim, eff that. sim cards have no need for change, its not like they are bulky and weigh the phone down, this is just going to make life more difficult for moving contacts and make my job (as a phone salesman) that much more difficult. ugh.

                Fail...

They've had 4 goes to get the iPhone right, but the only flash I'm seeing here is for the camera.

Adobe and Apple have been in each others pants for what seems like a lifetime. You'd think by now that there would be a rock solid solution for flash on the i
                iPod touch - no flash
                iPhones 1 through 4 - no flash
iPad (Marketed as ultimate web surfing experience) - guess what... no flash

Why don't Apple do what they normally do, and just rip off someone else's technology and never pay royalties. (e.g. Bluetooth)

                One other thing Steve Jobs...

I can buy any phone i want, N8, X10, galaxy S, nexus1 or even the new iphone with the 'revolutionary' facetime and 'magical' glass body as and when it's available here. What you just told me to do is as stupid as me telling you to buy nokia 7700, which the original iphone is a copy of and coincidentally steve job's favourite phone before iphone existed.

Once again People pls get over the fact that the IPhone 4 is too expensive.

If you cannot afford it right now, then please stay out and wait for a few months for the price to drop.

I do understand that during this recession time, things are slightly difficult for you, everyone & Apple as well. Yes it's true, Mr Jobs has got to pay his bills as well, so that is why he is selling the IPhones for such a price, just to recover from the development costs of the IPhone 4 and then get some funds to build IPhone 5.

But once a few months goes by, then the price of the IPhone 4 would definitely fall & you all can go ahead and grab one for yourself.

So please chill out till then.

                      Have a nice evening ahead.

                      Cheers!!

Love the iPhone or hate it, the fact is that its changed mobile phones for ever. Its the first successful touch screen phone, and now all the other manufacturers are falling over themselves to bring out touch screen phones too, then theres the apps. When people look back on phones in years to come the iphone will be seen as one of the phones that changed the way phones look & work forever.

Not everyone wants a smart phone, so for a lot of people a simple Symbian based mobile with a keypad will be the only phone they will ever need. Unless Symbian OS3 on the N8 turns out to be mind blowing, I can't see Symbian surviving in smartphones at all, with Android on one side & Apple on the other. Blackberry probably has a lot to worry about from these 2 rivals in the future also.

As for the future, I think Apples biggest threat will come from Andoid. It can do everything that Apple iOS can do, but is much cheaper for developers to use as its open source.

iPhone 4 Pre-Orders Clog Up Nation

Posted on June 15th, 2010 in Featured by admin

Customers eager to buy Apple’s new iPhone 4 experienced massive and widespread difficulties when attempting to pre-order the smart phone on Tuesday, the day it went on sale.

Users trying to order the iPhone on Apple’s website received an error message: “Your request couldn’t be processed. We’re sorry, but there was an error processing your request. Please try again later.” Attempts to preorder from AT&T’s website yielded similar error messages.

Calls to AT&T’s customer service line returned a pre-recorded message saying that the company was facing extremely heavy call volumes. A new Apple app, launched Tuesday morning, that allows existing Apple customers to use their iPhone or iPod to pre-order the iPhone 4 was offline by mid-afternoon. Twitter, recovering from its own crashes earlier in the day, lit up with accounts from frustrated iPhone shoppers.

Even AT&T’s retail stores were unable to order new iPhones for customers at the height of the frenzy. An AT&T retailer in Times Square resorted to taking pre-order information manually, with a pen and paper, for a few hours Tuesday morning. By mid-afternoon, the computer systems at the store were back online and the lines had subsided."

I couldn't care less about the camera, I've got an N82 lying around in a drawer since I got an iPhone 3G.

I care more about the 5GB of Apps I already own, which I can just sync across using iTunes.

The 4.3 inch screen phones are just too big they don't fit too well in a shirt pocket and you look pretty dumb when you're talking on one, they hide half your face.

The HTC Evo is only available on the Sprint network in the US which is CDMA and irrelevant the GSM.

If you want a camera phone get a SE Satio, the phone the N8 is a copy of.
