U can't even send by bluetooth to other devices .. I'm not talking about these hardware compatibility systems, no these r made for the brand itself .. I'm talking about programs and games in computer stores, I'm talking about connecting with other devices like micro usb charging which is applied in every device out there e.g. Charging a Nokia with a Blackberry charger or any other micro usb charger, I'm talking about bluetooth or infrared file transfer.. Its like ur disconnected from the world and that's not a smartphone's purpose phone means communication which needs to be connected at all time in all ways.

The people who held tye device over at the conference confessed that the screen is brilliant. And why are contesting this improvement anyway? Are you mad at Apple that they have improved the resolution of their iphone? Lol.
You should just rest your case and leave iphone alone, period. Lol. Let the users judge for themselves. If users are not happy with what the iphone offers, only a few would buy it. Why are you so worried? Lol.
As I have said, your opinion is premature. There is no professional review yet comparing the iphone's retina display with any super amoled displays. Why are you so adamant about this? Lol. There's not even a review yet of the iphone4. Why can't you give the iphone4 a chance? Does it bother you that it might be another successful release by Apple?
Like I said, there is no review yet as to how the iphone4 battery holds up with its new features. Why are you already making these unsupported claims?

How the heck should I know if its on or off its my cuzin's ipad :s I was just typing and I submitted my post, he even has street fighter on it and some voice changer app, ok how do u want me to prove that I was on an ipad :s there is a switch that fixes the rotation to either portrait or landscape, what else ? He has an app called katamari or somthin .. Ur such a loser get a life. I hate using the ipad sometimes when I use the multi touch and try to zoom in or out it throws me back to the homescreen for no reason

Well even supposes experts get it wrong sometimes. Just because he's got a PHD & works for a Vision technology company, doesn't mean he's the engineer. Display tech is a very wide area. All I say is. Nope The people who held the device aswell as Jobs MWC videos only noticed a slight sharpness, brightness increase. The extra PPi is not worth it, you'll hardly see a difference - Since you need better than average eye site from a normal viewing distance which is what the experts fail to mention, the average person won't see much of an amazing difference.
I rest my case. TFT IPS which is what is in this device doesn't have a completely free angle of viewing the pixels which only light up a limited area. Again the screen is lit up using artificial LED backlight. These are not as bright as Organic Light Emitting Diodes which with a small electrical stimulus provide a much brighter white, they have the ability to completeley switch switch of with negative charge to produce blacks depending on which Organic materials, gasses are used.
The OLED still wins. Producing blacker blacks, wider colour palette since OLEDS can access a wider dynamic brighter natural light from the materials used which are natural. Greater whites, greater viewing angle because the reflected blocking light behind other layers etc...
My final comments are "We'll see how long the battery life is in this device" Since IPS use quite a bit more power consumption than standard TFT. So go & read the real scinetific establishments research on OLED FACTS over any TFT In Plane switching technology. Because that expert won't convince me based on what I know, have seen, heard, read from multiple sources. One thing don't comment back Iphone arguers. never take a 1st opinion from some smart suited PHD guy for apple. Bet they are paying him to say that, either that or he just loves to many apples.

But resolution numbers prove that the iphone's retina display is higher than any super amoled phone out there, and that already gives the iphone the advantage.

The iphone promises an improved battery despite the display improvement, so it does not matter if ever the iphone's retina display does prove to consume more battery power. So your point is pointless.
The iphone offers excellent legibility under direct sunlight, and it offers the same with the iphone4. I haven't read any review of a super amoled phone where the reviewer stated that it has better outdoor legibility than the iphone.
There's also no review that states the the iphone's retina display is more prone to damage. Nor was there any review that states that amoled displays have better responsiveness than the iphone or better contrast or deeper blacks. So I do not know where you are getting your ideas from.
Unlike you, I will not make any claims as to which is better between the retina display and super amoled until there are official reviews comparing the two. I am smarter than you are because I do not post around speculations as if they are facts :) You're the one who needs a better brain :)

Based on the specification, I'd say it has met all my minimum requirement of having an iPhone:
1. 3.5" capacitive touchscreen with better pixel
2. Huge memory storage 16/32 GB
3. WLAN now upgraded from 802.11b/g to 802.11b/g/n
4. Camera has improved to 5MP with LED flash
The above are all improvements made by Apple Inc. to this new iPhone 4. This surely is on my list but since I'm just a teenager and still studying, I may have to wait for another two years to get a new mobile phone, otherwise, damage my current mobile phone - Nokia N70

Retina is not a big deal? It is four times better than the 3gs' resolution and it is not a big deal? For Pete's sake, this is not for Samsung Wave users but for iphone users so stop promoting your samsung device already. If we're interested w/ samsung wave's specs, we can go check it out ourselves thank you.
Stick with your e90. Go video call with it every day. I am sure everyone who likes video calling would buy your e90 if it does offer smooth video calling. No need to promote in here. Some people are just so insecure and jealous :)

I don't think Apple intended the iphone to be used as your movie library. Plan ahead. Save all your movies into a hard drive. When you have an upcoming long trip, move a couple of movies to your iphone. Better yet, watch that movie on your laptop, believe me, it's more enjoyable watching a movie on a bigger screen when you're in a long trip :) Unless of course you do not have a laptop :)
