why does my iPhone can't make/receive calls and texts? It has signal but can't make it.... can connect to wifi but can't browse any access to internet?

It has no ringing tone. You cant use your specific song as ringing tone... crap.

I just got this iPhone 4S free on Smart's unlimited Data Plan 1500. So far... so good. I am already satisfied with this phone, including Siri too.

sally, 12 Nov 2012do you think it`s worth it to upgrade from 4s to iphone 5?In my honest and humble opinion, the answer would be no. While even I can upgrade from the iPhone 4S to the iPhone 5 now, I would not still do it.
Here are my reasons:
Because of iOS 6, the iPhone 4S is almost like the iPhone 5 features-wise.
The slightly increased screen size would be good to have, but that don't matter much to me right now.
I would not be able to maximise the use of the iPhone 5 if I had one, and I mean not being able to use it on a 4G LTE network. My carrier currently does not have the 4G LTE frequency band, and I am not interested in moving to a new carrier which supports that either. I have tried an iPhone 5 running on a 4G LTE carrier, and while I can really notice the diference in speed I am still very much happy with my carrier's 3G coverage and speed.
The issue of "Scuff-gate" is real. I would not like to receive an iPhone 5 with dents and/or scuffs straight out of the box and have to go through the hassle of having it replaced until I get one which conforms to the quality and standard that Jony Ive said in the iPhone 5's promotional video (where he likened the iPhone 5 to a finely-crafted watch). Fortunately, Apple has now listened to all the complaints and has now made improvements with quality control.
Somehow, I prefer the use of glass and stainless steel than anodised aluminium but I don't think Apple would return to using glass and stainless steel for the sides and back of the iPhone again. I just hope that Apple would make huge improvements as to how the aluminium is chemically treated and strengthened, and hope that the 5S would be what the 5 should have been in so many ways.

Is there such a thi... moreYes, an unlocked (or SIM-free) iPhone 4S can be used with any carrier on either the GSM or CDMA frequency bands (see 'Specifications' to know about these frequency bands in detail). Note that you can only use the CDMA frequency bands if your iPhone 4S was activated via a CDMA carrier.
Let me make it clear that there is a huge difference between an "unlocked" and an "unblocked" iPhone, let alone any mobile or cell phone for that matter. An "unlocked" phone is one that can be used with any SIM card (either regular, micro or nano) from any carrier wherever you may be, that would receive a signal, and would allow you to make calls, sned messages, etc. An "unblocked" phone is one that was reported either found or recovered by its owner to a carrier, which had "blocked" the phone via its IMEI because the owner had previously reported the phone as either being lost or stolen.
Should you mean to ask as to whether an unlocked iPhone exists, the answer is obviously yes. Getting your iPhone from the Apple Store would guarantee you getting an unlocked iPhone, provided you do not get a SIM card from them. If you do, Apple would most likely lock your iPhone to that carrier which had issued the SIM card. Getting an iPhone from any carrier would also mean getting an iPhone locked to a carrier. But in some cases, a carrier would allow an official unlock if you ask them for it. Should they approve of it, they would forward your request to Apple and you will just receive an email from Apple and/or receive a text message from your carrier saying that your iPhone had been unlocked.

I think android devices are better are useful than iPhone for some reasons below:
+Android can but iPhone can't:
-choice for additional memory card
-using as flash drive
-bigger screen
-lower price
-universal bluetooth
-easy connect with computer
-a lot useful free apps to download

4s is more better than s3 i used all phones but 4s is really comfortable
