Hi? I have the same problem like some other users... why is that being a little bit laggy when i updated to ios 10? So far some other features going great.

I think not all iPhone 5 User facing same problem. I bought this iPhone 5 year 2012 when Apple start introduce it. Until now i just replace the battery only. No more issue just a bit lagging on iOS 10, but its ok i still can use to edit my video using iMovie with no problem. Depends how u use your iPhone. Take care like your GirlFriend. Hehe. Just kidding. Overall i like this phone untill now never change. 😊😊😊

Today's 4th year anniversary owning my Iphone 5. Bought the Iphone 5 16gb on 2 years Maxis contract back in 27 Dec 2012. So far it's a reliable, tough (due to Glass screen protector and Targus Hybrid casing) and user friendly companion. Just updated to IOS 10.2. A bit laggy while playing Subway Surfers. Camera quality's decent but terrible at Low light shooting.
The Drawbacks, 16GB barely enough. Thanks to Google Photos, managed to backup and Spring clean my photos. Now left 500+/- MB storage. Battery replaced once Jan this year and OEM now shows sign of deteriorating. Overall rating 9/10. Highly recommended. But get AT LEAST 64GB.

I have been using my iPhone 5 for about a year and it's still working pretty well. :) I got two dead pixels after battery replacement and iOS 10 became little bit laggy when it switches between keyboards. but hopefully overall performance is good. I love this iPhone.

Installed iOS 10.2. if you are on any other version of iOS 10 and don't Wait for a jailbreak, update immediately

Ip5 good phone but in 2016 apps handling n support is big question becoz it has 32bit architecture n where as in ip5s still A7 chip n 64 bit makes it powerful n it will be upto ios12

I bought iphone 5 January 2016 first few months everything was great, but after 4 months its battery started swelling and dust got deposited on the back camera, screen was bulged out. I had never expected this much poor quality from apple.
This was not all, when i tried to get a replacement for the battery (since it was still under warranty), I came to know that its not under warranty anymore. I had the bill, i called apple support, they said they can't do anything I have to get a paid service.
Absolutely rubbish support from apple. Because of the battery problem my screen also got damaged. And the original replacement cost was 13500 for (LCD+touch panel), I mean what the ***k. My experience with apple is worse. I do not know what the god damn hell they charge so much money for if you can not provide a good customer service.
