AnonD-62800, 19 Dec 2012Thank youI love my cover for the phone. I use qdos smoothie...its great and non slippery, non scratchable and very light. And it doesnt let the phone feel "thicker".

AnonD-1094, 18 Dec 2012Only issue battery life which isn't greatI checked my phone over a period. Roughly 15% battery drop per hour of usage. That include web browsing and phoning (a lot)! No need to charge extra during the day. Im charging it every night. And benefit of that is automatic backup to icloud.

chrishd32, 18 Dec 2012As much as I wanted to stay away from Apple I must say they... moreIm so 100% with you. The little things on iphone are the things one cannot explain. I own GS3 and iphone. Iphone just a step ahead. The biggest draw back for me on GS3 is the size. And the wow thing that nobody think of: iphone does not need the on and off toggle of switches like android. I dont want the os to change or the phone. If they iinnovate, as some people want it, what the heck will it become? What you see is what you got. And the innovations are just fluid with the phone. The 4 inch screen is max! Anything biggier is too big for me. I gace my GS3 to my son....

AnonD-62800, 18 Dec 2012I was using iphone4s for awhile and upgrade yesterday and ... moreMetal back phones will always be hotter than plastic couterparts...Why is a smartfone handling GHZ of proccessing power and NO FAN ASSISSTANCE not allowed to get hot??..All my early NEC Motorola and Nokia 3g phones in 2003-2005 got hot using 3g its not even anything to bother about.
The hottest phone i did have and got very, very hot was Samsungs tiny Z500 3g clamshell but it was a masterpiece in miniature back then..It got even hotter if charging and using 3g together to point of smell of burning but still nowt happened it functioned perfectly well...The only problem with heat is efficiency, the less heat you can produce the more efficient the outcome(unless it is a heater in which case its doing its job).

Anonymous, 18 Dec 2012Make sure your settings same as on 4. It should not happen.... moreAs much as I wanted to stay away from Apple I must say they have won me over with the iPhone 5. Im a big Android fan but most phones now are just too big for me. Im a big 6 foot guy but the latest Android offerings don't work for me. 4.3 inches was great while it lasted but 4.6-5.5inches are to big for me. Why?... I like having an all in one device. The iPhone 5 size proves to be and do just that. I love running and the iPhone 5 does not get in the way of that. I can carry it with me on my runs without feeling like I'm carrying a break on me.
Thank you Apple and I look forward to all your future offerings.

Both are great phones and 5 processing speed faster, but battery should not overheat. Pity we can't hear about positives. Not your fault, but bad for apple to hear about the bad. Luckily the good is a lot more. Bad are for all phones and makes and models. I still think iphone is great.

Today I experience the sync to icloud again! Amazing! Easy! Contacts, mail, notes, reminders, calendar! If you open icloud on pc (i got dell laptop), everything is there. One entry on iphone, ipad or icloud is automatically pushed to all devices. Calendar is my favorit, as in my business about 80% of my entries on phone! Reminders and notes! It can all be done by all platforms, but apple is the easier one. One should experience to understand. Icon on calendar is the exact date....it changes date and day everyday. Not just an icon. All other phones I have seen is just an icon. It's all these little things that add up. Wifi is switched of when phone is locked. Same with whatsupp. And so all apps. That is the reason that the small battery is performing that good. All phones are good, but iphone just got that little bit special!

Wow Apple is in talks with Foursquare and if true, will accelerate Apple's local data improvement by miles.

Apple just needs to see the stellar sales of its iPad mini, and hopefully this will lead to them making the rumours of a lower cost iPhone true. This will propel Apple ahead and make it very hard for its rivals.
