snapple, 16 Oct 2012People are short on cash these days and Android is the alte... moreInteresting comment there my friend although with a hint of fanboyism. Few cents to consider here,
1)Not everyone is "interested" in buying an Iphone.
    2) Android offers something for everyone. From $150 to $800. So choice fits every budget.
    3) Sure IOS has more apps. Perhaps better quality ones. But in the end, its all about usage. The apps i have in my S3 are perfectly fine for my preference.

So the key here is "preference". Iphone aint the end of all. In fact its just another smartphone in the smartphone race. Face it and enjoy your iphone 5 :) Cheers!!

    Sent from my Galaxy S3.

I want to buy an iphone 5 Black 64gb but Apple are out of stock! Getting fed up and tired of waiting around as it'll be 2 months before I can get one since launch! Is it really worth the wait or can anyone suggest a better phone alternative? Thanks.

I have a feeling Apple may have exaggerated their sales figures a little. They claim 5 million units in the opening weekend but my boss went and purchased one on launch day, and a coworker the very next day. I work in an iphonecentric environment and I have only seen maybe 5 owners of the new iPhone. When the 4s and previous models were released all the enthusiasts just had to have one. I don't see that demand anymore

relatively stable is an understatement. They are very stable, and iPhone users will tell you, they never so rarely will experience any issues.

Anonymous, 16 Oct 2012While iOS will remain relatively stable, WP8 will eat into ... moreIOS users see WP as closest to IOS because of it's smoothness compared to Android and IOS and the fact people want to support the underdog but right now very few people use Windows phones or tablets and it doesn't even have some of the most profitable Games on IOS and Android because the market is just tiny and reality is it's only had a relatively small growth lately, and manufacturers always hedge their bets with new technology in the gamble it takes off but really Smartphones and tablets are really a 2 Horse race with IOS and Android and I really can't see Windows being a real competitor anytime in the next 5 years.

if you're developer. i think develop app for ios are more easy. Because apple only have a few different type of device. compared with android with hundreds, maybe thousand different device. It makes the app in android sometimes cant run optimally. Crash, restart, slow and maybe have a bad graphic. And if your android device are too old. The app are no longer support your device/OS.
In apple, because only have a few different type. developer can optimalize the app. and the developing time also more efficient

The biggest argument against Apple that I often hear is the fact that you have to use iTunes to load up your media. But is it really such a big deal? I have a Windows PC and I already have iTunes on it. I downloaded it just to see what it looked like, and that took like ten minutes. And iTunes discovers the media thats already on you hard drive, so whats the problem really???

Right now I have a LG Optimus Black and I don't know if its the phone or what, but anytime I connect with the cable to upload new songs it has to start installing drivers and acting up; the whole process sometimes crashes and I have to start again - it can get tedious. And removing the memory card is fine software wise, but its begun to make my battery cover loose because of always having to remove it each time.

I wanna replace my OB with iPhone mainly because of RESALE VALUE. When I bought my OB it cost me $500 - I've tried to look after it the best I can, but when I sell it, the best I'm gonna get is $250 because of my loose battery cover and a few scratches on the plastic back - plus the fact that androids are all about spec - and my spec is too old. However with iPhone the story is different. When I bought my OB, iPhone4s 32 GB was going for about $1250 in my country. Now they cost $1100 brand new, and a good condition second hand will go for between $900 and $950. They hold their value better - it just makes more sense. So I'm keen to dump android for a while, and try something new. I don't use widgets or live wallpapers much anymore - grew out of it I guess: plus they just eat battery, memory and data. There is really nothing to loose, provided my phone doesn't get lost or broken.
