I cant understand why bashers are here you dont go to Alcatel forums,Sony forums LG forums just Apple..You lot must be threatened or interested in Iphone5 to even come here or why else??..
I have had an iphone just over year and got banned 4 times by GSMArena for bashing Apple.I hated Apple but had to try one to see what the fuss is about..Since then never left Apple iphone except to trt top of range Androids..Still with iphone it is consistantly consistant consistantly and browser is tops on Iphone..
I cant be called a fanboi because have W7 laptop and lots of Nokias,i still use N8 to go out on town with..
I get mad on here not because its over a box of silicon/aluminium but because i want to talk about Iphone5 not be bombarded with jealous androids fanatics.

everybody is hating new iphone. So how it could make 5 million sale in weekend and more days to come.everyone is pointing the negetive sides of the iphone but already preodered it....!!! Strange....!!!

And to Anonymous...loads of my friends switch to Android phones cuz of loads of stuff u can do with one.
Iphone 5 i admit a good phone but not on my standards. Pretty phone tough but feature wise way behind.

AYTM Research, working with Mashable, conducted a detailed market research study of the smartphone market as it stands now at the end of 2012, and created this exclusive infographic looking at what prospective buyers are most interested in, particularly looking at the iPhone market.
Some of its findings:
73% of people looking to buy a smartphone in the next 6 months are already smartphone owners
Current Android owners are 2.4x more likely to switch to an iPhone than vice versa
87% of current iPhone owners plan to buy a new iPhone in the next 6 months
Only 9% of current iPhone owners are considering a switch to Android

The writer was not just an Android user but strong advocate on tech site, what he has experienced, many have also experienced, which is a frustrating upgrade process, clouded by uncertainty. Can Android fix it? Very unlikely. Can Android fix the fragmentation? Also very unlikely. This is why many Android fans are switching to iPhone and looking at WP8.

Just because the Apple system is not for you you dont have any right to bash it..You can keep your quadcores they are not any use..I would choose dual core 3.3GHz CPU over this Quadcore 2630QM 8GB RAM laptop i am using ATM.My dual core @1.8GHz laptop of 2010 is faster in some aspects due to the latency issue on the Level 3 cache on the quadcore,,even ripping a cd is 6minutes average slower on quadcore .
The SGS3 uses its quadcore for what i am interested to know....My next laptop i am going higher clock speed dual core over lower clock speed quadcore
at same price point.
Some folk will always be spec driven but coding is the ultimate quality..You can throw every bit of horsepower at a badly coded O/S and it still wont run fast.

[deleted post]Conveniently forgetting that many companies had years of experience in phones and iPhone came and took the market by storm. As it is, Apple maps is a great app, with nice vector based graphics, and turn by turn which wasn't there before. It is of course currently marred by a weak data set, millions of users feeding data, and Apple certainly working on the app will mean that Maps on iPhone can only get better.

You can do less with iphone and thats a fact. Multitasking is crap and so-so restricted...unless jailbroken.
Sorry but thats how this phone is and it will be d same for years unless apple listens to their costumers not their pockets.

At the end of the day, my firm opinion is that there is no ONE best smartphone, only one that serves you best. I like iPhone, but was previously a Palm, Sony and Nokia user. I have always gone for the phone that served me best, after carefully considering my needs and whether the phone served my needs best.

Android is actually fantastic in concept. And even in philosophy. The problem is that the implementation of the manufacturers leaves a lot to be desired, which is probably why Google merged with Motorola, as even Google conceded that like Apple, a great Android product would be through control over BOTH hardware and software.
