I just did yesterday and trust me i thought it will disappoint me but not at all disappointed. Everything is working fine and so fluidic thats the taste of iOS 8 and there are plenty of good features which we can enjoy now .I was hoping that the sharing option would be as rich as how android share but never mind there may be in future updates.overall its a good upgrade .about performance and battery well I can't find any lag yet and the battery seems to be ok i don't see any battery improvement yet .will take at least a week to figure out everything about iOS 8.
Ok if you experience some short of problems do share with us and if i have, will share with you.

Just swipe down from any home screen just like normal spotlight which was in 7.1.2
What i like about is the search result its display information from web and wikipedia .just say i just type Google .google app are short listed and contact with G name are listed and any email from google are listed as well .if you want further information there is option to search in web too.

7 times iOS 8 update error!! Even with strong connection of WiFi!! Like a dumb i've been waiting for an hour.. All of a sudden message pop-up and mentioning "software update error"!! Again need to start from beginning!! I'm tired!!

IPhone 5s is very good for social network but this is getting very hot when we plug charger nd play game or anything it will get hot .......nd there 2nd problm is there smart asps nd cool games out of 100 mb so need to use wifi u can't download frome data ...

I too have update it ..wow simply wow no lag as of now and love everything about it spotlight search is awesome now and third party keyboard is a huge welcome for us I'm using swiftkey now .the build in keyboard is also quite good but I find swiftkey to be more accurate.camera also have new features which is a plus point for photography.there are so many good features in iOS 8 .no regret in upgrading and its worth updating ..Enjoying the taste of iOS 8

So far I could't say that there is battery improvements in the new update. Hope i'm wrong, this is for my iphone 5s.. if you commit updating, do it through itunes because if you try to update directly through the phone it will require huge amount of memory around 5gb just bear in mind.

Everythings running smooth no battery drain no heating just pure flow of ios 8.Updating Siri and spotlight was the best move and also introducing time lapse in video mode. Just one word "AWESOME".

Aloha mate,
I have update. First impression very smooth and fast slaids, apps are fantastic love the mail improvement also notification are fancy good. I'm with iphone 5s so far so good... health application isn't that useful. But oh yeah the camera new futures are awesome I would point that as a biggest improvement in the new update, off-course this is my personal opinion and don't want to engage all of you with :) But i thing switching to ios 8 will be better.
