After reading some of the comments.. i feel we should not just compare specs, but results. IPhone in my opinion still out perform the rest of the devices.

Buy Iphone if you can afford it. If you can't, have a cheaper smartphone devices like android. The reason why you keep on bashing the uniqueness and fluidness of an Iphone is that you simply can't afford it. End of this superficial talk.

But they are only combined phone manufacturers. While apple is a single company yet they sell-ed a million units of their devices. Plus, you get premium apps which cannot be found on android. The only good in android is BIG Screen, Powerful speaker, and PC like folder accessibility. Yet, it is rated as the TOP of the world's most INCOMPATIBLE ISSUES reported to google each day. Like how come tegra games cannot be played on other processors yet they share similar OS.

What lockdown are you talking about? The true lockdown is Android, you need to use their services totally.. Google + (Oh my.. ) hangout tied to SMS.. omg.
The reason you "see" lockdown, is because Apple's app is so premium and good that you find the rest is not good.. so use their app is preferred.

Some people just find the Iphone 5s to simple and want more out of their phone. for Example the ability to not be locked into everything Apple! Cause once you start you have to get everything apple cause they want every last cent out of you.

iOS is the most user friendly. First timer just pick up and use without thinking.. and they can get most of the job done.
Android is most "PC" liked.
Do not get confuse user friendliness with PC operation. You still take tons of time to learn PC.

Apps on ios have better quality than the same apps on Android
Ios is much more lightweight than Android requires lower Ram and cpu power
android is much easier to work with and has more ways to customise
IOS has better stability than Android
So there is no heaven, both platforms are good

In my personal observation,90% android guys that changed to iphone will never go back to android. Its strange feels when u using iphone. Eventhough u have try to go back to android. U just simply cant. The smoothness,simplicity, elegance,build quality,reliablity and customer service support is totally awesome. Iphone is for professional. Android is for 14 years old kid. Tell me what is the most function that u really enjoy on galaxy S5? All that is useless. S Health? Water resistant? Fingerprint scanner? IR blaster? Useless. I bet that all those crappy things is useless. Just gimmick. Nobody needs all that on cellphone. Fingerprint on s5 is crap. Cant compare with iphone 5s. Need to swipe 3-4 times to read. Build quality? Plastic is always be a plastic. Feels cheap. Thats y price came down a lot. Only 2 months old and the price has down to 600$ from 800$. Lol.
