You can get a used iPhone 8 for like $230 nowadays
If that's still too much the iPhone 7 won't cost you more than $140
You won't find them as new anywhere tho, if you prefer a new phone than the cheapest iPhone is the SE but it will cost you around $650

So i had some horrible battery problems with it and decided to change the battery and update to ios 15 and it worked way better than before
Its been a month since then and everything is still working like a charm. It'll soon be 2 years since i bought it and i'm gonna keep it until it either breaks or Apple gets rid of the notch, not buying another iPhone until then
