I think the iPhone 8 is very similar to the iPhone 7 but the iPhone 8 does have iOS 16 and the iPhone 7 doesn’t.

I have iPhone 8 64GB since June 2019 and it still is working great. It’s amazingly reliable phone and takes great photos.

Now I already use iphone 8 about a month as a main driver. What i can tell is still valid and ok for daily usage. I only use FB, message, pay a bill app, payment apps.
I like it because it so small and easy to keep, I don't try mini as I like iphone 8 design and also fingerprint location. I used iphone 11 before but only can last for 4 days. Plus is very cheap only 90 dollars(converted from myr)
Battery wise from my usage is a day usage. I don't need to worry to bring power bank if phone is fully charge in the morning.
Downside is since this is old phone, seems apple software do aggressively kill apps on the background when not using the phone with the latest update. This good for me and it like this update.
