Planning on iphone either 8plus or X. I prefer larger and wider displays. X has a larger display but looks like the its less wider. Any suggestions which one to go for. iPhone 8plus or iphone X???

Think that a S8 Samsung is same price range has got iris scanner finger print and face recognition curved edge and bezeless screen with fast charging headphone jack wireless charging many screen features that Apple not including then swiching to Samsung from Apple might be lot peoples priority next year.Oh yeah longer battery life. The next Samsung apparentely not going to use micro sim because the internal storage will be 564 GB crazy numbers starting.

I just got the 8 Plus after having the Galaxy S8 for six months. I am very impressed with the Apple product. It is quite stable and responds very well. I opted to get the 64 GB version with a case and screen protector. I had reservations on getting an I-Phone but now am very pleased with my purchase.
The screen resolution is FHD on the 8 Plus as opposed to a 4K AMOLED Display on the S8. I feel that the screen is crisp and the colors are displayed in an excellent manner. What impresses me the most is the battery life. For a 5.5" screen it is excellent on standby. There is a noticable drain when the display is kept on.
I will post more as I continue to evaluate.

Hey everyone^^.
My last iPhone was 6+ and i got that "flickering screen" and i had to sell my phone for parts :P
From that day I use Samsung s7 ( it was hard for me to get use to Android since I use iPhones for like 5 years) and I luv my S7 but now I like to switch to iPhone 8 plus .
should I go to 64gb or 256 gb ?
( i listen a lot of music so thats meens like 8~12gb of music ), Im not some who like to take pictures all the time and im not a heavy phone gamer .
And i like to use this phone for like 2~3 years
so what u guys think ? is it enough for me to take 64gb version or 256 gb ? here iP8+ 64gb its 820 euros and 950 euros for 256gb .

Why? It has more screen area than the taller iPhone X screen. Also, LCD screens don't suffer from burn-ins.
Battery life is better.
There's a nice Gold finish for the 8 Plus.
It has the same processor as the 8 and the 10.
Has the old good Touch ID.. but Face ID has two major advantages, especially in day-to-day usage:
- Nobody can unlock it while you're sleeping and you know that's not the case with the iPhone 8 Plus as anyone can grab your thumb and unlock it
- Is more secure than Touch ID
Also, it's still fast and swiping up just gets you used to the interface.
Really don't know which one now, if you're looking for a better camera (dual OIS), taller OLED display, stainless steel frame instead of aluminum, Face ID and a gesture-based UI, go for the 10.
And if you'd like to stick to the old good UI, Touch ID, getting an almost as great camera as the 10, a nice Gold color, LCD wider display with same brightness as the OLED one and a better battery (the LCD uses less battery while displaying whites and the iOS has a white interface ), then 8 Plus it is!

I upgrade to Ios 11.2 My I Phone 8 Plus Records Video and in the Video there is sound issue is coming as while recording video the sound goes off or become v v low please confirm s it a software issue or I should replace my set from Apple?

Without bezels, it's impossible to hold your phone firmly, especially while laying or walking.
Apple did a great job improving something that's already awesome.

My moderator to heavy use almost Delivers me 2 days before I need to charge. So not too bad. I think IOS 11 needs polishing (though it is smooth) and is still not as efficient as IOS 10.3.3 but that was expected. Hopefully Apple will iron out issues in few months time.
