Hope they return it back on the SE3 with face recognition though. Probably not turn back the headphone jack because it's basically a battery killer unless they add a better battery.

People who complain about the battery leave me bewildered.
What the heck are you doing on your phones?
Maybe if you didn’t constantly keep it in front of your face every minute of the day like a mindless drone.
I text on it, I call on it, I check scores on it, check weather on it, use it for maps, for music, and Siri to make reminders and ask to text or make calls.
I go to bed at night with about 65% battery life remaining.

Currently using this phone after my X completely shattered ;) This was my old phone but I had to use it temporarily until I get a new phone. For those who thinking of buying this in 2020, I kindly suggest not to do so. Overall the phone is still great (I had mine from 2017 and still works really well) However the battery drops really fast even though I am just an average user. And for gaming, I played pubgm without problem except the heating after 1hr. So unless you can cope with continuous charging this phone with powerbank, then you wont have problem. Ouh I do have a Redmi S2 with larger 6" screen but I still prefer SE

This is because, the iPhone SE series have very low battery capacity (~1500 mAh) which is not enough for daily use. New phones at the moment they have 4000-5000 mAh which can stay up to 2 days with minimal use and Adaptive battery turn on. So if you are looking for new iphone, I suggest to invest from series X above because it has at least 3000 mAh compare to SE series. SE should be either your backup or in your collection instead

Or if you don't want to, at least check the cable. Even if you replace the battery, it won't be enough for you to stand for a day. Because your phone's battery is very low - 1450 mAh. While in 2020 this year, almost every new phone (except the new iphone SE 2020) has good battery capacity about 4000 mAh-5000mAh.
I suggest you to get something like Samsung A21s or A31/A51 as you are on the budget. These phones have 5000mAh which can stay for 2 days without charging (e.g. if you surf website and turn on Adaptive battery usage). Otherwise, you should save money to buy new iPhone from series X above. Those series above gives at least 3000 mAh which can stay longer than the SE. At all cost, do not buy new iPhone SE 2020 unless you are collective guy/girl. Because the SE version are impractical for daily life now.

I'm actually using this phone after a sad dead of my iPhone 7. Coming from newer phone, I can say that this device is very capable, however I would prefer to upgrade as soon as I get money to do it. However it is a perfect phone for a son or daughter, and they will appreciate. I think it is perfect like an emergency phone when need to send your main one to repair and you can find it very cheap today. The battery is the only negative point, for a normal work day, mine endure about 8 to 9 hours tops.

Sometimes i loose like 10% of battery when Im updating apps etc... etc... and my phone has disconnected more than once when it's on 10, 15%. Do you think I should replace the battery? Will it worth it?

for me iphone se is the best smart phone ever(the size is perfect)
buh i was expectin’ apple company to do the 2nd generation of the se the same size buh full screen as the x with two(2) cameras buh unfortunately it didn’t go my way
so i’m still usin’ the 1st gen and i love it
buh if i’m switchin’ up then i’ll cop the iphone 12 mini cuz is also my taste

My 3 year old 5se with Apple A9 (14 nm) and 128 GB ROM is working perfectly well without any lags for 3 continuous years. I prefer it to any Android phone and it is the only phone I use since I bought it. It fits one hand, it is portable, and amazingly after 3 full years of heavy use the battery is still working at at least 90% ! Last week I upgraded it to iOS 14 and the phone presents no lags, works perfectly well, same as before, and even better. I do not plan to change it at the moment with a new SE 2020 as by looking at specifications it is only the Bionic 13 processor that makes SE 2020 faster. If you do not mind a couple of microseconds in opening an app, then I would suggest you stay with this phone for the moment. Not to add the fact that this is Apple's CLASSIC!

I loved my iPhone SE up until the day I passed it on to my dad. He now uses it everyday. It's the perfect size for your pocket, never gets in the way. My father in law was using a flip phone and then decided to switch to a smartphone. I showed him one of these online and he said yes to it. He now has one and also loves it. I like the new SE enough, but the older ones are really nice, good performance for a small smartphone and still very affordable on the aftermarket.
