Sometimes i loose like 10% of battery when Im updating apps etc... etc... and my phone has disconnected more than once when it's on 10, 15%. Do you think I should replace the battery? Will it worth it?

for me iphone se is the best smart phone ever(the size is perfect)
buh i was expectin’ apple company to do the 2nd generation of the se the same size buh full screen as the x with two(2) cameras buh unfortunately it didn’t go my way
so i’m still usin’ the 1st gen and i love it
buh if i’m switchin’ up then i’ll cop the iphone 12 mini cuz is also my taste

My 3 year old 5se with Apple A9 (14 nm) and 128 GB ROM is working perfectly well without any lags for 3 continuous years. I prefer it to any Android phone and it is the only phone I use since I bought it. It fits one hand, it is portable, and amazingly after 3 full years of heavy use the battery is still working at at least 90% ! Last week I upgraded it to iOS 14 and the phone presents no lags, works perfectly well, same as before, and even better. I do not plan to change it at the moment with a new SE 2020 as by looking at specifications it is only the Bionic 13 processor that makes SE 2020 faster. If you do not mind a couple of microseconds in opening an app, then I would suggest you stay with this phone for the moment. Not to add the fact that this is Apple's CLASSIC!

I loved my iPhone SE up until the day I passed it on to my dad. He now uses it everyday. It's the perfect size for your pocket, never gets in the way. My father in law was using a flip phone and then decided to switch to a smartphone. I showed him one of these online and he said yes to it. He now has one and also loves it. I like the new SE enough, but the older ones are really nice, good performance for a small smartphone and still very affordable on the aftermarket.

I'm using the phone every day and as the only smartphone, it fits my pockets. It allows me to do everything I like and all the apps work there as on bigger models. The display is big enough to play free slots on the casino guru site. The only thing I have a problem with is the battery life. After all those years it lasts only 6 hours when playing online games. Good thing is that I also work so I drain the phone only in the evening even I charge it thru the night only.

This old little phone still works as it was after updating to iOS 14, albeit more features with the new iOS.
In flight mode, battery down 2% through the night.

Joke aside, you need to use one of this older iphones and see for yourself. In my opinion a 2, 3 even 4 years old iphone is better (software wise and using it in day to day tasks), than any entry level Android phone (bellow 300EUR for example).
Just go and use an iphone 7 or iphone 8 and then compare it with a cheap Realme or Xiaomi, even cheap Samsung or Huawei phones. Yeah, maybe the Android phones will have bigger displays, even OLED in the case of Samsung, they will have 4 or even 6 GB of ram, they will have bigger batteries, fast charging, even 90Hz refresh rate (in the case of Realme 6). But, in the end, when you will use one day to day for 6 months for example, you will see immediately some changes. At least I did.
I do not know why is this happening with entry level Android phones. Maybe is the bad OS implementation, maybe are the apps, maybe because are made of cheaper parts than the flagship ones. In the end, the experience will not be the same after some time. And this happened with almost all of my cheap Android phones in the last couple of years.
I think that is the reason that you will rarely see Refurbished Android phones. Instead you will see even now in 2020, refurbished iphone SE 2016, or refurbished iphone 6s. And people are still buying them, because they are still working with no problem, with minimum lag.
To answer you question, I do not know if Apple is intentionally slowing down their phones. But think logic, if they will have done that, why they will bother to release software updates even for older iphones? Because those updates cost lots of money and resources. I mean it doesn't make sense. On one hand they are "slowing down" those models (to make people buy newer models), but they are putting money and resources to update them and make people still use them.

Many are counterfeit and are from China. Personally, I'd rather buy a really good refurb through a company like Decluttr, where you have excellent reviews and better CS if there's a problem.

An... moreSee my post a few minutes ago; Decluttr and Macofalltrades are good....have to be patient as if they show up, are gone quickly! Have had a small "dumb" phone for years which I love, and didn't want any of these huge phones that are out there. Did some research and decided to get a 5s or the se 2016. I just need for basics so fine for me. If you do alot online, media, etc., I'd say not a good phone for all that???

Just got one a few days ago on Decluttr...like new. It arrived today. They are popular still so you may have to check often. Decluttr has great reviews and you can get a good price for a trade-in. Macofalltrades is another good site. Can get phones in 3 different conditions. Good luck! Just checked both sites and they don't have any at the moment. There are some iphone 6 and 6s on both sites. They are both smaller phones too.

Where can we buy se and 5s, currently i dont see them in any ecommerce sites. If tired of these 6 plus inch phones and want to buy these as these wont burnmy pockets
