Very bad polic of apple, body & battery, iphone 8, camera iphone xr, chip iphone 11, rather purchasing this new one stick to old iphone 7 or 8, no meaning in upgrading model. was expected iphone se design, flat from sides but iphone 12 is going to get it so spared this model.

I expected more..
I am not an Apple fan but I loved the IPhone SE which was released in 2016.
and now this ?
Too bad Apple is scamming their customers.

Honestly as both an Apple and Samsung user. This SE is a slap in the face with mediocre specs. 1821 mAh, seriously? The bezels could have been thinner.
iPhone XR and 11 was great (though not the best). SE is going to flop hard in my opinion.
Conclusion: if you want a proper Apple device, you must be ready to pay the premium at all costs.
If translated to SE Asia prices (because I live there), this buys me a Mi Note 10 or realme X2 Pro. With the inflation of USD exchange value, I would rather pick up something else. And once this drops, I will still insist on the XR or 11 anyway.

Same comments back in 2016 when the first iPhone SE was launched. Bad that, bad that, to pricy etc. :D LOL
They don't realise the iPhone SE was made for budget purposes.
It was never pretended to be a flagship, just a reliable smartphone with newest chipset and some newest solutions in an aged shell. Some people appreciate that, this was confirmed by the sold units of the first generation iPhone SE.

It may last up to 5 years, will have somewhat decent resale value and will run smoothly most of the time. That cant be said about s10e. Display is a nice thing to have, however if the phone will struggle, you wont enjoy it as much.

4.7" LED display with 88%+ screen to body ratio, then maybe yes. Would have more sense to call it a "SE" then. This is a renewed 8

I dont mind the pixel density on my Xr, so I wouldnt mind it here. Having FHD display just for sake of having it is not the apple way, I know, it sounds better, but really, would it benefit you in any way? This iphone is a steal for its price, even with an LCD

It's pretty ironic when Apple's punchline is "More for Less" and most of the people still don't find the price right.
Then Again, they could make it a superb phone by cutting these corners
1. At least 1080p instead of 720p+
2. Asking for too much to Apple but OLED would be better.
Midrange market has become pretty competitive. I don't think most people will consider this phone a solid option other than those who are truly in love with the already bitten apple logo.

even if it's just $400, a small screen isn't a problem for a certain market of consumers add to that iphone's strong battery life and a water resistant rating. damn if this was only 5 inches it'd attract more users but i guess this is fine
