Not up to the expectation , less battery capacity , still LCD screen , Same old camera, old design . i think apple still dint consider how to improve the apple quality

Best compact phone of 2020. Sorry android fans, you cant bias talk about it if u havent used it. I am android user but i used iOS and let me tell you, this phone will beat the cr*p out of every android flagship. (Camera and cpu wise)
This will sell like a hot cake, S20 should release S20e to counter it, something like a pixels future 4a.

Really ..... 4.7 old 16:9 ratio and all of the old features for a 400 dollar iphone!!!! Apple just dragging it self to shame with this one.

In my opinion, the phone design is more likely iPhone 8 with new chipset/processor (Apple A13) and an upgrade screen size and RAM from original iPhone SE (original iPhone SE has 4 inch screen with 2GB RAM while iPhone SE 2020 has 4.7 inch screen with 3GB RAM).
If you wish to get a new iPhone with budget not more than RM2000, this phone good to go. But please keep in mind that you only have apox 50GB left (for 64GB storage) because operating system use apox 12-14GB for iOS. It could be not enough for many people for those who use hardcore apps (eg: games, record videos, WhatsApp massages, etc). At least 128GB is good to go.

I Really do not know why people are so pissed at this phone?
If 399$ seems high, the worth of tech in the market now is not known properly.
It uses the iphone 8 body (the 4.7" form factor we saw and loved everywhere), iphone 11 chipset and the iphone 11/Xs/Xr camera.
The only 2 cons are no headphone jack and average battery life.
But 399$ for the latest chipset and ios is more than worth it! I bought the first SE and love it for its faster components

If you're planning on joining into the ecosystem, this should be the right daily driver device considering you may also be buying an iPad for entertainment, work exc...
That's how I see myself and others on here buying it.
(Or maybe just need a simple upgrade from your old se)

Actually I kindly like the size but I would highly suggest that they should create 2 versions of this unit. I truly understand they use LCD instead of LED coz of the price. The things I don't like are: NO 3.5mm Jack most people still prefer w/ 3.5mm jack, 3GB RAM I hope they change it atleast 4GB, and the last is the 1821mAh battery, c'mmon its 4.7 inch Phone better make it 4000mAh or match it according to the phone size 4700mAh. Apple should now considering upgrading the Battery of there phones.
If I had given a chance to design/create this new iPhoneSE 2020 I recommend:
1. BUILD: Aluminum Frame and Back.
2. DISPLAY: 4.5 or 5'0 Super Retina OLED capacitive touchscreen w/ 400+ppi.
3. MEMORY: 4GB RAM w/ minimum Internal 128GB.
4. BATTERY: For 4.5 it should be 4500mAh. For 5'0 it should be 5000mAh.
5. SOUND: It must have 3.5mm Jack.
I Hope Apple Will Hear Us coz this specs with low price will definitely gain more customers and trust.

For any other brand this would be a budget phone. The battery is shameful really. In itself the performance will be good but then again a 4.7 inch screen.
I would applaud Apple to market a budget phone it didn't come with a mid range price. As always with Apple it's twice overpriced.

Very bad polic of apple, body & battery, iphone 8, camera iphone xr, chip iphone 11, rather purchasing this new one stick to old iphone 7 or 8, no meaning in upgrading model. was expected iphone se design, flat from sides but iphone 12 is going to get it so spared this model.

Honestly as both an Apple and Samsung user. This SE is a slap in the face with mediocre specs. 1821 mAh, seriously? The bezels could have been thinner.
iPhone XR and 11 was great (though not the best). SE is going to flop hard in my opinion.
Conclusion: if you want a proper Apple device, you must be ready to pay the premium at all costs.
If translated to SE Asia prices (because I live there), this buys me a Mi Note 10 or realme X2 Pro. With the inflation of USD exchange value, I would rather pick up something else. And once this drops, I will still insist on the XR or 11 anyway.

Same comments back in 2016 when the first iPhone SE was launched. Bad that, bad that, to pricy etc. :D LOL
They don't realise the iPhone SE was made for budget purposes.
It was never pretended to be a flagship, just a reliable smartphone with newest chipset and some newest solutions in an aged shell. Some people appreciate that, this was confirmed by the sold units of the first generation iPhone SE.
