What an honor. You also have your adware/malware packed play store, load the wrong app and you are burned, you really need to be knowledgeable to bring yourself back from devastation.

Good technology needs to be transparent to the user, apple brings that exactly, their stuff is well designed and you don't need to figure out any specs to know it's going to work properly so you can focus on your life and not on continuously fighting the device so that it behaves as you need.

Now if you don't like their designs it's more like your very own personal problem, point fingers accordingly, you have samsung, Huawei and all the others..

    The only "top of the line" thing Apple phones have is their chips, which are not that important nowadays since they offer about the same performance. Apple phones have, compared to other Android flagships: Less RAM, less customization options, worse cameras, less battery life, and yes, even worse designs. If you don't like the design of the latest Samsung flagship, you can go for OnePlus. Don't like OnePlus? You have Huawei. Don't like Huawei? You have Xiaomi, VIVO, etc etc etc.

    iPhones are just a fashion statement and for people who are very ignorant on technology, that's their appeal.

      Problems will be fixed most likely but it's always the same with android devices all the time and google devices are no exception.

      Just remember the SE is for light users, otherwise is every bit as good as any other iPhone.

              I have missed the old build and with the a13 chip the is the best phone for anyone who wishes to have a home button or still doesn’t like the notch. Even if it compromises the screen size.

Moreover, i change my devices only when it becomes obsolete. Hence, why don't we end this discussion. At any point of time I'll not waste my money in buying a costly phone whether it is Android or iOS. I cannot prick my eye with a gold needle just because it is gold.                   Relatively expensive stuff is not out of reach for most people, one can save a little every month for a long time and before you know it you will have the funds. It's really not a big deal at all.

                        The cheaper iPhone is not happening simply because their 37.5 million customers (in Q2 2020 alone) are actually fine with their pricing. If I remember right about 1/3 of those sales were none other than iPhone SE phones.

But it was priced at ... moreApple doesn’t need to have a “budget” line for their products, because you simply can not bargain with top quality products and Apple has long established themselves as being the best when it comes about design, high end quality components, software. It’s simple as that , you want to have the best of the best you will pay the price for it. And stop comparing Android with IOS because IOS is light years ahead of Android. With Android I experienced the worst possible situations like being hacked my bank account even if i had an antivirus installed on my previous Android phone. Also my Android phone was behaving abnormal sometimes which was due to Android instability. Of course you can’t expect for all people to buy only IPhones or Apple products because they don’t have the money for it, that’s why Apple got its own customer base which they know very well what Apple products are and their quality, so no need for a budget line of products.

But it was priced at €300, approximately $350. This was the problem. If it was priced at about $200 consumers might have accepted it. The main reason why iPhones are expensive is because of their honest services they provide for a span of 5 years. I really like Apple Inc. Moreover, Apple devices are more secured than Android devices. Even if a person accepts Apple's Quality and Services, he/she should have deep pockets to procure one of their devices. Hence, it goes without saying that Apple products aren't affordable by all. What I actually want from Apple is to become the global market leader. This is possible only if Apple wishes to provide budget devices like Android. They can introduce a budget product line if they wish. Apple definitely have the capability to do it. It is not necessary that iPhones should look and feel the same way tomorrow. Such high quality is not needed by everyone. Just presume budget Android devices with Apple's iOS. It is the software that makes the mark. You might say that this iPhone SE is comparatively cheaper than other iPhones but, this SE doesn't have the size and looks of a budget Android device. Let's take my case. Though I can afford iPhone 12 Max, I'll not purchase it because I am not ready to waste my hard earned money on it. For some, Apple iPhones have become a status symbol. For me usability is more impotant than aesthetics. For me, small screens are not usable for all works. Phones can be used only for urgent tasks though people extract more from it. For urgent tasks (booking a cab, messaging, calling, WhatsApp, to refer things in www, etc.) I use an Android device and for other tasks like e-banking, editing photos and browsing the web for a long time, I use a Apple Tab. I don't play games because it just kills my time. To my belief, to really enjoy playing games a tablet suits well more than a mobile. Moreover, I rely mostly on my computer than tablets and mobiles. But, if Apple introduces budget mobiles like Android, I'll definitely prefer it over Android. I said all the above for the betterment and enrichment of our beloved world.

                            To end up, everyone have their own beliefs and they have got every right to frame their own. It is not necessary that you should accept everything what I say. Life is nothing but a infatuation for things. Above all, I know that every dream can't become a reality.

                              This could have been a good phone, if only they had at least 3000mah battery and better screen and, though not required, notch display. Well, there are plenty of good Android alternatives anyway.

                                Now people buying in the $200 or less price segment are people who don't have understanding or appreciation for quality or user experience, apple customers in contrast expect quality from their products, when apple came out with the plastic iPhone 5C it was immediately rejected, again apple customers are willing to pay more but they also expect more in return, apple never came out with a plastic phone ever again. As you've said, today, Apple might not interested to compete with Google. But, no one knows about tomorrow. Will not Apple manufacture today's iPhones in high volume, if there are plenty of takers? Definitely, Yes. Coming to iPhone 12 Mini, let's wait to see what it is.
