Except Samsung no other company sells their latest phones in my country. And Samsung is stiffing a shitty processor in their flagships for our region. So, no Samsung for me because of their shitty processor and no Chinese phones because I'm afraid of the backdoors in their hardware or software. That leaves me with only Apple; even though I don't like their products because they are way expensive.

I'm seriously considering buying this phone on BF. I never thought I'd come to this point, as I'm not an Apple fan, but Android phone manufacturers leave me no choice. Pixels are not sold in my country, so my only options for a compact phone are this one or a S10e, but the later was released one and half year ago. It already got Android 10, 11 is around the corner and after 12 (about one year from now), no more major Android updates. On the other hand, the SE 2020 will still get another 4 major iOS updates. The outdated design of the SE 2020 bothers me a little, but I can live with that if the phone fits in my pants pockets and I can use it with one hand. Regarding battery life, as I don't game and don't watch long videos on a phone, I'm confident it will last until the end of the day for me.

Now of those 5 on back the most useful is the main one 48MP and which 90% of the time will be most used. It’s easy to realise that most Android phones makers put all these nonsense of cameras , ram , processors just to find a justification for pumping up the prices of their products which really they wouldn’t pass certain level if they wouldn’t add these gimmicks to “impress “ and attract the common buyers. It’s clearly what they lack in software department they try to compensate in hardware area

Yea I can understand your frustration when you can’t have something but like to trash it every way possible just by looking at the specs and looking on forums for bad comments from other people like you.How convenient is that isn’t it?

What an honor. You also have your adware/malware packed play store, load the wrong app and you are burned, you really need to be knowledgeable to bring yourself back from devastation.
Good technology needs to be transparent to the user, apple brings that exactly, their stuff is well designed and you don't need to figure out any specs to know it's going to work properly so you can focus on your life and not on continuously fighting the device so that it behaves as you need.
Now if you don't like their designs it's more like your very own personal problem, point fingers accordingly, you have samsung, Huawei and all the others..

The only "top of the line" thing Apple phones have is their chips, which are not that important nowadays since they offer about the same performance. Apple phones have, compared to other Android flagships: Less RAM, less customization options, worse cameras, less battery life, and yes, even worse designs. If you don't like the design of the latest Samsung flagship, you can go for OnePlus. Don't like OnePlus? You have Huawei. Don't like Huawei? You have Xiaomi, VIVO, etc etc etc.
iPhones are just a fashion statement and for people who are very ignorant on technology, that's their appeal.

No ... morePixel 4a is already facing slight problems with the screen and problems with touch sensitivity:

Problems will be fixed most likely but it's always the same with android devices all the time and google devices are no exception.
Just remember the SE is for light users, otherwise is every bit as good as any other iPhone.

I have missed the old build and with the a13 chip the is the best phone for anyone who wishes to have a home button or still doesn’t like the notch. Even if it compromises the screen size.

Moreover, i change my devices only when it becomes obsolete. Hence, why don't we end this discussion. At any point of time I'll not waste my money in buying a costly phone whether it is Android or iOS. I cannot prick my eye with a gold needle just because it is gold. Thanks for your valuable time and ... moreWhat I would do if wanting an iPhone but not the SE is wait a few months, when the 12 is released the XR will be out and probably less than $500 at some point in new condition, it's a larger phone with a larger battery and display that heavier users can use and has 2-3 iOS updates left so you can stay current for a long time.
Relatively expensive stuff is not out of reach for most people, one can save a little every month for a long time and before you know it you will have the funds. It's really not a big deal at all.

The cheaper iPhone is not happening simply because their 37.5 million customers (in Q2 2020 alone) are actually fine with their pricing. If I remember right about 1/3 of those sales were none other than iPhone SE phones.

But it was priced at ... moreApple doesn’t need to have a “budget” line for their products, because you simply can not bargain with top quality products and Apple has long established themselves as being the best when it comes about design, high end quality components, software. It’s simple as that , you want to have the best of the best you will pay the price for it. And stop comparing Android with IOS because IOS is light years ahead of Android. With Android I experienced the worst possible situations like being hacked my bank account even if i had an antivirus installed on my previous Android phone. Also my Android phone was behaving abnormal sometimes which was due to Android instability. Of course you can’t expect for all people to buy only IPhones or Apple products because they don’t have the money for it, that’s why Apple got its own customer base which they know very well what Apple products are and their quality, so no need for a budget line of products.
