I own one and you’ll get a full days use at best before it’s under 10% at the end of the day. I typically have to charge it when I drive to keep it at a respectable level. Other than that it’s a good midrange phone at a midrange price. No other complaints.

i just got my iPhone SE 2020 for second device and will little optimization im getting 2+ days of normal usage. the device its a beauty, super fast, no lag, no overheat, super slim and i have a smile on my face when im using that device. buy whatever you want, dont troll on this particular page if you dont like the new SE

You can even go with a 7 with more capacity... I mean, in my country and used 7 128gb cost the same of a 8 64gb... But a 8 128gb aren't so common, and get under 400-450$ and there you gonna start to think about the SE which is what had happened to me.
The X could be a good option if is under your savings... it's more newer, more battery.
Just keep in mind 64gb the less, because iCloud could get full easier if you don't buy more storage, and more storage at the end, means in the next 4 years will be reliable.

If you are getting differently you should see what are you doing wrong or if your phone has a problem. No way this model is going to die off in 3 hours unless maybe if you are gaming.

As it turns out not a lot more, a little more than an hour is all the difference.
The SE manages almost 5 hours SOT with those 1821mah, the SE uses much more efficiently the available battery:

5 hours SOT is pretty good and way more than many people will need so don't make a big deal out of it, not everyone wants a plastic phone, quite frankly the 4a looks cheaper than it actually is.
