It is not meant to outpace the sales of it's bigger brothers.

    Apple is coming out with the 5.4" iPhone 12 which is similar in size to this but will have better battery and functionality, at a higher price of course, every company has their downsides, with apple really is price.

If they just had made a slightly bigger battery this phone would have rocked the market and make many enter the apple ecosystem. Plus smaller batteries means more charge cycles in year than a larger battery. But noted that this phone is just for the people who just text call and scroll a few pages of insta or fb.

          Bear in mind that if you get one of those chinese phones you are on >your own< if the battery or anything else breaks because there is no manufacturer service in many if not most countries, 3rd party service shops use fake batteries and parts taken from other faulty phones to get by. Nice. People look for specs these days but it's really when things go wrong when you know the difference of a good brand Vs a brand run by pirates.

          I have forever said that this phone makes sense for light users that want a small and light phone, this phone is definitely not for everyone, any small phone not just this one will have drawbacks due to their size, very light users are not affected by any of these concerns, you can even get 3 years from a battery if you don't use everyday and you don't usually deep discharge.

            I think you guys are not getting the point if it has 4 hours SOT how much SOT do you think it will loose in a year or two from purchase, after a year it will be around 3 to 3:30 hours if you charge the phone daily( around 350 cycles).the next year it will be more(400) as the battery is further degraded , a battery can undergoe something around 500 to 800 charge cycles. So probably after 2 years you probably need to change your battery. You cant take a phone out with 2 hours SOT. Correct me if in wrong. Im also a apple user dont take me as a android fanboy.

                  Apple delivers what's needed and nothing else, they do not play the chinese specs game of deception, they are too smart for that, people should wise up.

                      I've been an iPhone and android user for my entire cellphone exposure life(11+ Yrs to date). If you want smoothness, quality photos and videos, ease of use, exclusivity, and simplicity, then you should definitely go for the iPhone. But if you're looking for Battery life, different sets of powerful processors, storage capacity, wide range camera megapixels, availability, and Variety then Android is for you.

                            People that use iOS dont care 6GB RAM or Snapdragon, they care iOS and Apple ecosystem. Suposed "Freedom" is just a mimmick, once you use iOS get the main point of have an iOS Phone, Andriod has many issues incluid slow updates, not trusty App Store and not too secure OS, besides, your argue is not strong enough to keep off users from Apple. Even a kid with Youtube access can unlock and stole easy and Android pone hehe

                            You need to know that, iOS dont need 6, 8, 12GB to run or many cores processor, is perfecly optimized to run even on 2GB phones, thats is nice, Android cant do that, even with that much RAM is not fast enough, and Fragmentation dont help either.

                                Would rather get the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite than this because bigger RAM (6GB Snapdragon 730G), better Display (AMOLED), have more customization freedom (MIUI), 30W Fast Charging and a bigger Battery (5260maH vs 1821maH lol).

                                This phone is only made for hardcore Apple Fanboys.
                                Also iOS is a prison.

                                    This IPhone is said to be $400... The only reason sales are not booming in South Africa is because it sells for the R10 000 ($600). Which still makes it expensive even for the 64gb version. I wanted one but I will stick to my android mostly because of price.

                                        -A single android update.
                                        -bad post sales care from LG.
                                        -gimmicky useless sensors people laughed at.

                                        Apple uses pull tabs which are safe, updates your phone for 4 years and so on...

                                        Apple strong point besides quality hardware is that the user can trust what is buying from them and the company is there for you during the lifetime of the product, and you can exchange it for a new one without having to sell it yourself. YES it's damn expensive dealing with them but you are not buying trouble, this is specially important if you plan to keep your phone for a long time.
