This IPhone is said to be $400... The only reason sales are not booming in South Africa is because it sells for the R10 000 ($600). Which still makes it expensive even for the 64gb version. I wanted one but I will stick to my android mostly because of price.

-A single android update.
-bad post sales care from LG.
-gimmicky useless sensors people laughed at.

Apple uses pull tabs which are safe, updates your phone for 4 years and so on...
Apple strong point besides quality hardware is that the user can trust what is buying from them and the company is there for you during the lifetime of the product, and you can exchange it for a new one without having to sell it yourself. YES it's damn expensive dealing with them but you are not buying trouble, this is specially important if you plan to keep your phone for a long time.

For the life I can't understand why people love iPhones so much, their specs are so bad, especially for how much the phones cost. Last December I got my nephew the LG G8 ThinQ which had just come out on the market and AT&T has it on sale for $11/month, same for what they have this phone on sale for now. This phone came out in April this year so its 6 months newer than the G8 and the G8 beats this phone in every spec category.

Anonymous, 21 Aug 2020very lame and doesn't justify the price. that's w... moreConsidering this is a really small smartphone, it's pointless to complain that the display and battery are small, it's a given not a defect, hell if you want bigger just get bigger, some people want small and they understand the drawbacks, if you are a light user you will never ever notice a problem with battery life.
And if you don't like iOS, fine apple does not point a gun at you and force you to buy, iOS is security oriented and that makes some tasks uncomfortable, android is a security calamity, if you don't mind your data being easily stolen, by all means use it.
And the pixel 3a is a cheap piece of plastic, it's not a bad phone but iPhone is for those who appreciate build quality, you can have your preference but why come to trash talk here, if you are happy with your phone, leave use alone and live happily ever after.

I love this phone! Compact and Performance is good as well. It does have a small battery but its fine by me. I still play game, do social media and work email on my phone and all good. Camera is good as well. Good investment for me. This is my 3rd phone, I also have a Huawei 5t and Samsung Note 10 Lite as well. Now I'm planning to get OnePlus unit.

very lame and doesn't justify the price. that's what apple call an upgrade? battery isn't even 2000. same small screen in 2020. these are 2 big issues if you ask me... and as an ex iphone user - i despise iOS. they complicate the simplest things like moving pictures from your phone to pc. bought pixel 3a instead - best choice i made. the camera is even better.

If you are 16 years old other kids may think your family is rich other than that forget it, everyone knows this phone is bottom of the line, try to show it off and you will be laughed at. You would be better off getting an older flagship in new condition for that purpose.

Awful battery, phone not balanced, they should put 3000mah battery. Processor too powerful for current battery. My old galaxy s7 have better battery life than this. Peoples dont buy if you care battery life.
