Am I reading this correctly? My iPhone SE from 2016 has a more up-to-date OS (13.6.1) than the 2020 SE? Obviously I'm missing something here.

The most essential things that I want is good processor and software support

So then I've confused is IOS and iPhone SE good enough for someone like me?!

A comparison that makes sense: SE 2020 vs Pixel 4A, same small size, same upper end mid range phones.

Anonymous, 14 Aug 2020To be honest with you I think the M30s is fine for your usa... moreThanks a lot for your answer!

I used a lot of big, bulky Android phones before until my M30s currently, BUT once I did own a second-hand iPhone 6S as my second phone (my main phone was Xiaomi Mi A1) to use as my "introduction" to Apple ecosystem last year and only used it for about 3 months because the seller scammed me told me it was all original until I found out it was a refurbished phone (I prefer to choose second-hand but original than refurbished phones), so I sold it again, alongside with my Mi A1 and bought M30s.

I liked the compact, small device since then but I really can't find any compact phones nowadays which is a bummer for me.

I currently own an iPad 6th gen too for multimedia and gaming uses so I won't use my phone for multimedia and gaming, that's why I think I don't need big screen since iPad is.

I'm planning to sell my M30s because I want to try something new, and like what I said before, I like compact devices more. The only reason I bought M30s before because of its battery capacity, until I find out that I don't really need that huge battery, I charge it every night though.

YourOpinionPlease, 14 Aug 2020I am an Android user since 2012/2013 and never use a flagsh... moreTo be honest with you I think the M30s is fine for your usage, the SE offers:

                            - superb build quality, performance, reliability, post sales support.
                            - small size.
                            - low weight.

If you are not complaining about any of those, the SE may not be for you because small phones, ANY of them, come with their drawbacks, the M30s is not light or small and you don't seem to care.

As far as chinese phones go I wouldn't trust those phones for bank operations or expect years of updates.

The only reason I would ditch the M30s is that it has a weak processor for heavy gamers but then you don't game? Maybe you should state why you want to ditch the M30s.

I am an Android user since 2012/2013 and never use a flagship phone since then until now (currently using Samsung M30s). I am planning to change my phone this December so I want to ask you guys opinion. Should I go for Poco F2 Pro 8/256gb or iPhone SE 2020 128gb?

I don't game on my phone and only use my phone for calls, social media, chats, online payment, etc something like that. Camera is something I would and wouldn't really care, at least it can take photos and videos with a nice quality. I already have an iPad 6th gen for my media and gaming uses.

I change my phone every 1-1.5 years since 2012 but now I want a phone that can last me for at least 3-4 years.

So which one should I choose, and why?

i bought this phone 3 months ago. i am happy with is because im a casual user, minimal gaming and youtube will suffice. form factor for me still the best but of course the overall look is sadly the worst part. i chose this because i already have an ipad pro 2020 so i game and play movies there. at the end of my work day still have 40-50% battey life. so if you are looking for a phone that will still be relevant 2-3yrs buy this with no hesitations.

                                      iPhone 7 smart battery case.

Supposedly is compatible with the SE 2020. But hey you can get the XR and have a bigger battery without buying anything extra.

leart78, 13 Aug 2020wow, you must consider yourself a genius. a lot of hate for... moreCan you say what is the wonderful experience? Crappy battery? 7 years old design? HD+ display? I don't see any wonderful experience. When you buy a car, do you just see it and buy it? No your not. Your reading specs to see is that car is comfortable for you. The same thing is with phones. If you don't see at specs and go buy it it means that you buy it for your status, to show that your rich. I don't want to show that I'm rich. If a 250$ phone is way better than 400$ phone that means that 400$ bucks phone is just a status showing object. I don't really hate apple, they have good products like iPads. Theres no any tablet that is better than iPad. But iPhones are only to show your status.
