I bought on the first date released in Australia, only two month the home button not working,
as carona virus booking to check take long, finally they told me have to replace the whole screen and its over 14 days for refund, bought about $829, then repair need 219, WTF
, only two month, they don't want to give me a refund or replace . I hate it.

Anonymous, 05 Aug 2020Is the battery enough for daily usage (no gaming) ??Expect about 4 hours SOT at least with no gaming and a little over 5 with the pixel 4a.

Anonymous, 04 Aug 2020Are people really buying this phone? You won't believe this little phone has helped apple being the only smartphone company posting positive growth in 2020:

        https://www.gsmarena.com/iphone_sales_strong_as_global_smartphone_market_declines_in_q2-news-44545.php

The android manufacturers are engaged in a size race and in the process they have left a big segment of the market in the dark. I foresee that some small high quality phones will be out like the old galaxy s10e at some point. The pixel 4a is an example of a not so big higher end midranger you can buy besides this.

Keep in mind that SE uses downclocked CPU, so its performance is not as good as the flagship apples. So even a Snapdragon 865 kciks it around, let alone 865+.

In know there is a lot of hate for this phone but I think the people who have a problem with this phone expect too much from it.

This is not a gaming phone. It has neither the screen size or the battery life for that. This phone is for the usual user who uses their phone for calls, texts, social media, watching videos, listening to music and taking photos. That is what I use my phone for and I have had no issue in that respect.

The camera must get a special mention as it raises very good photos for the price and getting a IP rating is quite rare in this price range. The battery is indeed small but it gets me through a whole day which is fine with me as i charge my phone each evening anyway.

I hope this helps for anyone considering buying this phone.

This whole phone is a meme from Apple. You got all these terrible specs and yet it easily beats the newest, most expensive Android flagship by over 40% in terms of performance on paper and even more in practice.
It's just there to show what a lousily put together bunch of semiconductors with a complete mess of an operating system most phones are nowadays.
You absolutely get a mediocre phone here, but at least you now it will still only be mediocre in 5 years from now and not an unusable hunk of plastic.

Anonymous, 01 Aug 2020Is it worth spending a little more money to buy OnePlus 7 P... moreYour question is kind of tricky as these are completely two different things. Anyway, if size is no problem and you're fine with a camera that does the job then the 7 pro, otherwise, if you can afford a 700$ phone wait for the iPhone 12 it's going to be much much better, if not then your stuck with the se, just bare in mind that this is a phone for basic tasks and not heavy usage.

Looks like its pretty good for light use and its very small as well. Media and gaming Idk about, and battery is eh, but looks like its targeting people who would love a smaller phone thats good for light use and have a solid camera with it and iOS.

I have the phone for a couple of months now and I would say its biggest flaw compared to previous phones is it's poor wifi and gps reception.
