Iphone 6 on iOS12 is still supported and receiving security updates so I'll be fine with my 7. My iPhone 7 has 82% of battery health and I'm gettimg around 4 hours of SOT.

I own this phone and my overall experience is good (i'm not exited) but battery life is pretty bad.
Battery drains differently for different scenarios:
1) I use Zepp Life app with mi band 5, training mode "walking" (in that mode gps is working all the time to write your track and mi band transfers data about your heart rate etc to phone in real time). And in the same time I listen to spotify on 4G network. So 10 kilometers (1.2 hours) of that walking and listening to music drains about 20% of battery which is good.
2) Battery time during watching video is ultra low. I don't know how gsmarena got 9:55h of video playback in their "lab test", but my experience is far more worse. Real example. I transfered some AVI videos (720x400 (16:9), 24.000 fps, XviD, 1601 Kbps) on phone using VLC player wi-fi transfer. And ofc i used VLC to play that videos. I watched that vids in full darkness (full minimum sceen brightness) with bluetooth headphones (Mi Earphones 2 Pro ~70% volume) in Low Power Mode. And each 30 minutes of video drained 22-28% of battery. At start phone had 95% and after 1.5 hours it had 28%. So IMO real video playback time is not more than 2-2.5 hours. And what surprised me in a bad way: during such "lite" activity for modern apple processor the spot on the back of phone between logo and camera was pretty hot. I'll test it more but at this point I'm not satisfied. If you want to watch videos you need a powerbank - that's my conclusion.

How are you gonna see your 4K image if you don’t have the resolution to cope? That’s just a space waster. At least the A5 Does not go above its screen resolution. Camera: 1080p Screen: 1080p.

My 1 year old iPad only lasts 2 days on Light usage. And no, it’s retina. But retina remember is like 11 year old tech. Retina was beaten anyway, and the camera would be better, as iPhone cameras are rubbish anyways. And video on the SE is atrocious. It’s so fuzzy that I would think it’s a blanket. Even the pictures look just untouched and goofy. 2 of my friends had them, bc they’re cheap. That’s the only reason you’re gonna buy it. Ya just want a cheap apple product.
