What an underwhelming P.O.S. Still rocking the same display as found as the iPhone 6 and only difference being the processor and battery. Apple knows they don't have to try because idiots will continue to buy their closed source garbage devices. Same reason I got rid of my 2020 SE, Apple has lost its charm ever since the 7 came out.

Trash phone. Buy Samsung A53 5G instead. It is far more superior compared to this shit. Better cameras, better display, has MicroSD card support, etc. Just the processor and number of software updates are worse.

My major gripe is that Apple said they were going to make a larger version of the SE back in 2020, then Covid happened making the “SE Plus” impossible at the time. I thought that meant the SE Plus would just be postponed but instead they skipped it to reiterate the SE with 33% more ram and a two generations newer processor. I guess if they have already scrapped the tooling for the 8 Plus then it just wouldn’t make sense any more to make one, but I’m still disheartened at the idea of not getting an “SE Plus”. The idea of a big screen budget iPhone sounds awesome, and I LOVE the fingerprint unlock. Who knows, maybe they’ll surprise us with the SE Plus with the 2022 SE specs. I doubt it, but a man can dream.

Only thing people use as an excuse are "THE UPDATES" like that's gonna change anything, apple was literally caught and later said that he is rolling out updates that are slowing down phones to "save battery"...like c'mon lol

People complain to complain:
only one camera! Yes no ultra wide or telephoto lens but it's a very good one that is very competitive if we take the time to compare the image quality to similarly priced and even more expensive phones on the website's tool.
Only HD LCD screen and no high refresh rate! For the size, the resolution is great and it's a bright screen with great clarity in sunlight and colours, and everything runs smoothly and fluidly under my fingers and eyes.
Those people who are looking for a different panel and high refresh rate with two or three lenses, plenty of options out there.

If Apple wanted to keep update this phone they should have expanded the screen to fill the top bezel of the screen.
It also appears that they are a bit ashamed at the bezel size as they now only offer black fronted iPhone 6, I mean iPhone SEs
They should have made the SE the same profile as the origional SE with a smaller bezel in my opinion.

Not even gonna lie i sort of see the design as a positive, third party and DIY repair is going to be so cheap since you can just use an 8's screen, housing and everything, heck even a 6's if you can bear living without truetone and a home button

Still, for that price, the design looks way too old - it's 2022 for Hell's sake, this looked old even when the iPhone 8 came out in 2017.
The battery is also lousy, especially with a 5G modem in there.

Adding a hole punch and side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the power button while also extending the screen size to 5.5 inches or more would be a real upgrade. But that would kill the iphone 13 lineups.
