All the hate is unjustified. This phone is an absolute banger but the price is a bit too high (even more so in Europe than US). But if that‘s the biggest flaw, it‘s a good phone because the price can drop (depreciation, used market). Design is subjective and I like it, the display is not bad at all (well calibrated, wide color gamut, the one-hand-friendly size is an advantage for me), and even the battery life is improved, as well as the camera.
In the future, this will become cheaper than the 12 mini used. And when I get a great deal, I‘ll probably upgrade to it from my SE 2020. I could care less about flat edge design and small bezels, my phone is an internet communication device and camera, not a fashion accessory.

Funny, I got the iPhone 3rd Gen (2022) for free from my service provider the day it was released. I do not think any person commenting here has the phone because almost all of them seem to be, well either lying or just flat out wrong. The Phone dose have the style of the iPhone 8 but is by far not old tech. It is a little retro but has the same cpu as the IPhone 13! Yes you only get one rear camera but it dose way better then the Samsung A51 I had before and that had 4 cameras on the rear. Video is clear when recording and walking unlike the A51 as well. What you need to remember is that the SE 3rd Gen is made to be a budget IPhone so compare it other budget phones. Yes you are going to pay more ($429 from my carrier) but you are paying for the iPhone name. This is even true when it comes to Samsung budget phones such as the Samsung Galaxy A02s. you could pay $75 for a TCL that has the same specs as the Samsung Galaxy A02s which would coast you $150. It should always be expected that you are going to pay more for phones from Samsung and Apple so that should never be a thought. However, if you think of it as a budget phone then you might be seeing this phone as a deal and besides that, this phone helps Apple reach a lower market like the A series does for Samsung. I would just suggest that Apple start making a few models of even lower tier to hit an even larger market. Now don't get me wrong, I hate Apple with a passion. I only have this phone because it was free to me. I can't stand how Apple is against RRIGHT TO REPAIR and everything in all their lineups only use Apple proprietary crap. This phone will help me give a big middle finger to Apple when it fails and I fix it and post the fix online. but back to point, stop taking the phone and acting like it is supposed to be the best phone out when it is only supposed to be a budget phone.

The phone itself isn't too bad and upgrades from the og 2014 version. But the price is so bad that I would never consider buying it.

            Ugly lil monsta

              design straight from 2011

              what a hideous device

smartphone from 2014 but with modern SoC

5G is useful for those who are using their phones without WIFI. Web pages load fast and downloads are fast too. In fact, I did two internet speed tests on my galaxy A22 5g which 1 was with WiFi and 1 without WIFI. The conclusion is that the test without WIFI was faster than the one with WIFI which meant that the 5G on my Galaxy A22 5G is faster than my own WIFI

One more thing and I won't be bot... moreIt depends on what you're priorities are my man; the Poco X3 Pro has the better chipset, a higher refresh rate screen (120hz VS 90hz) and the better battery, so gaming will be generally better on the X3 Pro. The 11 Lite has a better screen (OLED over LCD) and a better camera - though we're not talking worlds apart in terms of photos, just slightly sharper.

So longevity, battery life and general performance go for the X3 Pro, for marginal camera performance and screen quality go for the 11 Lite - they're both fantastic options.

Please don't post absolute dribble without any evidence or anything to back up your statement. GSM Arena - the very website you're on right now and one of the best smartphone reviewers, already have a comparison table of battery tests from their reviews. If the better chip means better battery life, explain these results;

iPhone SE 2022 - 62 hours (one of the lowest recorded scores this decade!)
                              Samsung A52s - 113 hours
                              Redmi Note 10 Pro - 118 hours
                              Samsung A22 (5G) - 118 hours
                              Oppo Reno 5 (5G) - 109 hours

All of the above handsets are CHEAPER than the iPhone SE 2022. What's your next empty statement you'd like me to debunk publicly?

Which phone is better ov... moreYou shouldn't be having a hard time at all; you're comparing an old handset with a tiny battery, a 4' 720p LCD display with 60hz refresh rate, 5W charging (with no charger included!) and non-expandable storage. Compared to the Xiaomi 11 Lite, it's not even a competition; the Xiaomi blows the SE out of the water.

Camera wise, they'll both deliver similar performance, but you'll have far more options and generally a much more capable and versatile camera on the 11 Lite.

If you're looking for bang for your buck, you should also consider the Redmi Note 10 Pro, as it's cheaper than the 11 Lite (Currently £179 on Xiaomi's website this morning) and punches it out in some areas.

It certainly is poor too; you'll be hard pressed to find a smartphone in 2022 - budget or otherwise - that has such poor battery life.
