coming from an iphone X the best thing I overturned is the heat, I mean only browsing on safari or reddit used to make my phone heat on the back (under the camera mainly). I had two units, white (changed it to black because I found the colors dull and it scratches easily I had to polish it each week). I did miss the oled display and 3d touch but believe me I no way regret having a smartphone with LCD especially because I literary can't kill the XR before night (playing pubg too). I can by no way tell the difference on screen quality between X and XR only the deeper black of the amoled on the X. The camera is superb and the portrait mode is really awesome on this phone(it does't miss at all) I highly recommend this phone

All 3 are loaded with options like a Rolls. Except the Apple 10's have above par camera sets. As far as screens- I have phones from Apple and Samsung. Watching Amazon Prime on them is about the same when you physically go into the settings and adjust them. BUT screen viewing area is more important. Then consider battery life for your daily needs. I have not purchased a Huawei so I can't comment on their phones. Oh and also a note on repair bills for battery and (S Amoled) screen replacements, Apple's just a TAD bit more heavier on the wallet. Hope this helps.

It's more like Samsung lets Apple buy their displays, because Apple does not have their own OLED technology and they couldn't do it without Samsung.

Had my iphone xr 2 months never had a problem till today press the screen to wake it then tried to slide to open the phone to gain access the screen lit up tried to slide up nothing happened tried again phone froze tried to turn it off nothing tried again then screen turned black apple logo appeared then phone restarted

The realty is it lacks many features of it's competitors high end offerings at roughly the same price or more. For example $550.00 usd you can get you a Galaxy S9 Plus with a larger OLED display, much higher display resolution, higher video resolution, dual cameras, actual dual SIMS, better water resistance, double the RAM, external memory, bigger battery, 3.5 jack, universal type C connectivity, fm radio and more color options. With an true immersive display it's widely acknowledged to be a far more attractive device as well. None of these are available or optional on the XR. And it's not just the Samsung. Huawei, One Plus, Pixel 3 and Razor among others. Operating System User Interface are worth a certain amount but the latest sales numbers reflect iPhones need something dynamic and game changing to remain competitive going forward.

Many people think you can see the difference between 321ppi and for example 540ppi with the naked eye ?
No, the human eye (1A condition, which no human has) has scientifically confirmed only 291ppi vision. Thus, the human eye (without tools like magnifying glass or microscope) can only see a pixel pitch of > 0.0084mm, which corresponds to 291ppi and up to 8". So a 6.1" display with 828 x 1792 pixels is sharp enough if you use the Phone at a healthy Range of 30cm (All under 30cm (TV, Monitor, Display, Book) is anyways not good for the Eyes at all.
What Youtuber, the marketing etc says that they can see higher PPI is pure nonsense. Ansd most..what are they using to show it ? Microscopes etc.
Ohh and yes, i have several Phones here : S9, Iphone XR, Note9, Huawei P20/Mate 20. And with my "good" Eyes (No Glasses yet, with 42) i and others cannot see a huge Difference between them. (Seen from the normal useage range of 30cm).

My iPhone SE does barely 720p and yet it looks no different from the Note9, even when I bumped it all the way to its max video resolution.
The only difference was obvious the Note9 was like a hundred times bigger.
