It's funny why reviewers and others from tech community are considering this a bad display. This is pretty much the same display as the iphone 8, just a little bigger in size. From the reviews it almost sounded like we would be able to see individual pixels like a supermario game but the display is actually very decent, though the phone is costly overall. Hopefully the price dips a bit in coming months with better deals and the package will be worth it for those who want an iphone.

iPhone XR: Base price is $750 for 64GB version with 3GB RAM, Apple A12, Face ID.
Oneplus 6T: Base price is $550 of 126GB version with 6GB RAM, Snapdragon 845, Face ID, and in-display fingerprint scanner.

This phone is sadly too big for my hands. Will stay with my iPhone 7 until the 8 or X are cheap used.

If you want to experience haptic touch on 6s or later, just disable 3D touch in settings = haptic touch like Xr only in control centre. Switch mine of as I plan to upgrade to Xr and get used to it.

...or you can adapt your soc to the protocole...or adapt your task scheduling to the protocole.
In some case, I even ask me if some benchmarks were make to fit with some soc (exemple : AnTuTu 6 with SD820!)
You launch real tasks and you'll see...
Speed doesn't depend only of soc.
Tasks scheduling decides how the cores are used.
(the (too) big core that provides your 4500pts on geekbench's single core test, your system can choose to use it the less time to save your battery life).
It can depend of cores architectures. High instructions per cycle used by Apple is great in benchs, not (always) in real-use.
Speed can depend of RAM speed.
Amount of RAM (to avoid disk-swapping)
Speed of storage.
Some tasks doesn't use CPU power but DSP or ISP or VPU or NPU.
Your hardware must be adapt to Real usage. Some exemple :
- A device with a Core i3 with a SSD will often be faster than a i9 with 5400rpm hard-drive in daily tasks, but not on pure CPU perfs
- If you're doing heavy CAD, you'd better have 64GB of RAM to avoid swapping.
I'm not sure Apple's choice are the best for mobile tasks...
Waste of silicones to fit with benchmarks?
Based on Geekbench's scores, Apple want to let you think that A12x is more powerfull than X86.
Intel's engineers aren't stupide, their 90W CPU aren't weaker than a 10W soc...or Intel should fire them!

It's all about communication, you can believe or you can decrypt...
When Apple said A12x's GPU is more powerfull than Xbox One S, some will Say "Amazing", others will think "hmmm, GTX's 285 level, a GPU from 2009, today's GPU are 10 time better..."
A long time ago, Apple said "think different"...let's do it!

This phone is very big and heavy. Please Apple 5.8 or even 5.6 in. would fit nicely our pockets.
