Whenever I look at iPhone X and recent iPhone siblings, I wonder people are so obsessed by notch that they don't notice that iPhones do not have any chin as such. While those who are trying to immitate notch, are not able to get rid of chin. Most of Android phone who have copied notch are unable to make 'no chin'.
This means there is still something missing ( which only apple is able to solve) that immitators are unable to get rid of Chins on their phones.

Notice the above word -without-. Now you understand: with true tone the white is pink and without true tone the white is green bluish.
The white cannot be both at once pink and green bluish because you cannot keep both at once the true tone turned on and off.

PenTile hasn‘t been used for a few generations of smartp... moreYou are wrong, get informed right, Samsung manufactures only Pentile OLED, there was only a narrow time around 2012 when they made OLED with RGB. Other OLED manufacturers make only Pentile too, you cannot find non-Pentile in these days which is very bad, Pentile needs a higher resolution in order to look smooth on rendering, eliminate jagged lines.

2. the iPhone XS has a much smaller screen, and the pixel density is relatively similar. By the way, Note9 is locked from stock to 1080p, you have to go to settings first to enable 1440p. And even then, you won‘t see any difference. If you looked at the 1080p downscaled Screen of the Samsung and the 1125p-ish Screen of the iPhone and said „the Samsung is sharper“, you are just an utter fanboy
3. there is almost no difference in dynamic range between the two displays. The only difference is calibration: iPhone XS screen is calibrated to look natural, Note9 screen is calibrated to over-saturate colors compared to reality. You make look at them and say „the Note looks more colorful“ but if you look closer, you will notice that detail is lost in that sink of neon-colors
4. how can the whites be pink and blue and green all at once? Seems like blind hate. And if you don‘t like True Tone, which should actually make the whites perfectly white and not too red nor too blue depending on the light around you, you could always disable it
5.did you really dare to say „ANY“ LCD looks better? You obviously didn‘t see that many LCDs, because I say more than 99% of the LCDs used look worse even to non-technical people
6. do you really read on white most of the time? What is if you use smart invert? Then it‘s black most of the time. And BTW what does this have it do with the Note9 Screen, which is the same, in your opinion worse display technology, being better than the iPhone screen. Your comment is just a load of wrong facts and hate

after using for a couple of days, I'm finding there's a network problem, unable to hear the other person speaks its just my observation, let me try with new sim tomor or different network and ill post the updates

You made very valid points and I totally agree. I was merely asking/enquiring if iOS had improved but it would appear they havn't.
Yes I did hear about all the current "gates" issues and it is just disgusting. The hardware can only be as good as a good software.
There are several realities being made now:
1. People who remain loyal/familiar with a specific OS tend to stay with what they have.
2. iOS is becoming a more open platform whilst Google-Android is slowly becoming/copying iOS and the OS is slowly being locked down.
3. People are no longer upgrading their phones on a yearly basis and the top phone makers brand (iPhones in particular) are now being accused of just incremental upgrades in terms of hardware and software.
4. Real innovation in terms of hardware and OS UI have started to stagnate and may exerts believe the smartphone business may be reaching a plateau.

They are blings to sport like ornaments which is why iTurds love showin off the logo(show any other OEM cases that is cut out to show off brand logo) but the phone can't do the basic stuffs unlike a 100$ essential fone...not even carge battery now?!
Yet iTurds are fierce in getting over it chanting "patch update will fix it"..lmao.
Till now #bendgate, #beautygate #chargegate..more to come..with that many issues, apple will drag till next year when they discontinue the XS lineup and bring in the next gen for 2500$ with more problems.
Stop expecting and researching so much from apple, they have gone so rogue over their profit margins that they ain't content with 500% now but going for 1000% profit per device by cutting on quality control and replacing with cheap materials and parts for saving on investments.
They will possibly dissolve their #iPhony division in a few years which is why making as much as possible till then is a sly scheming tactics.

It is due to the pentile OLED which needs higher resolution to make it sharp like common LCD. Samsung Note has higher resolution and better colors. Only when you keep them side by side you can see. In fact iPhone XS with true tone has pink whites and green bluish whites without and any LCD IPS looks better exepting the backs. Most of time you will read web pages on white background so AMOLED is useless on smart phones and tablets.

If you are price conscious, the S9+ is probably pretty great if you can get it under € 600, but it also heavily depends on which operating system you use. If you are happy with the one you use right now (be it Android or iOS), then stay with that, if not, jump to the other side and try it. I was always very happy with iOS (that is the one used on iPhones) because I'm a perfectionist and also because you still get the newest updates even after 5 years, whereas on android, you only get 2 years on the most expensive models, and cheaper ones get even less.
