I just bought it yesterday, it is great for those who need basic features using internet. The battery got long life time, switch off wifi n all those thing n turn on the save power mode. Make it stand by... Luv it...

i've a great trouble about battery life. it drains so fast not only in use but when the decice is idle/standbt"switched off too. I'm very sad about it.does anyone know any solution for this. i thinck it's not normal.

But my experienc... moremake sure your already turning off gps bluetooth, wifi, and setting sync just checkmark app data only. and some good point is at the screen normal mode. and at last in mobile network setting select the 2G only, to check your battery stats temperature, estimated etc. goes to google play then download battery widget,

Yes there is definitely something wrong. I unplugged my fonepad from charger just 2 hr back. Did three whatsapp messages and now its showing the battery to 80 %.
No call, No FB. Nothing else. Just 3 text messages in 2 hrs and 20% power lost. Disgusting.

Just got my fonepad back from service centre. So far so good. They told me that they have changed new motherboard. Im using it nw to type.

I agree, It could have been a good device. But my experience is not good. My biggest problem is that even when the device is not in use, the battery drains all the time. 15 to 20 % in an hour. Is it Normal?
I restored it to factory settings, uninstalled all apps too. Only using it for FB and light web surfing. But the battery wont last for a single day even. Confused.

sooner or later you will have the battery problem which it will drain very quickly. i have googled it and most of the owner has battery problem including me

Its a 1.6Gh device w... moreIts brilliant tablet performence is too good displsy is nice..battery last 8-9 hrs.when u are using it first time charge for 5 hrs continusly for 3 days. It helps u long life battery and installl some battery saver apps it minimises the battery consumption..hope it helps

It is official, im sending my fonepad for a refund which the problem with NO DISPLAY continues back! After getting the confidence from the customer service personnel that my fonepad will not have anymore problems, i return home with high hopes but after just 1 day using it, the problem still remains. This is a very POOR PRODUCT from Asus! Maybe i got one of the bad apple of the product but lesson for me is: I WILL NEVER BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM ASUS AGAIN! =(

But for game it is not supporting NFS shift since it show poor graphic on it but other game it player OK. It support rooting as I did it. But I failed to install my apps direct to the SD card I'm using 32gb without ejecting it self. I tested different player for multimedia including VLC but MX PLAYER it is very stable as you thought. Battery life its good as I observed. The model I'm using is New ASUS Fonepad ME371MG 16GB. The camera it work fine outdoor in bright light although it as some transparent dot once you zoom it. It can scan doc in a good way by using scanner apps.

I got this device 15 days ago in Oman. Its a 1.6Gh device with 32GB storage.
The Battery performance is too poor and it drains out too quickly. Despite of a very humble use I have to charge it 3 times a day.
Telephony is not good and the incoming voice crashes after 2 to 3 minutes of calling.
3 days back i got a message that a system update is available for stable performance, but when I press to UPDATE, nothing happened.
Please tell if anyone knows about any update from the company to fix these issues.
Please help.
