If you absolutely can not charge the battery runs out! Can not turn on, only shows a question mark.

There is another top end version, comes with 32GB internal storage, which is same as some of the top end smart phone storage.

The processor for the 32GB version is Intel Atom Z2460, 1.6Ghz. Folk out some extra money and get this instead of the 8GB or 16GB version, definitely a more worthy device then the two.
This will almost solve the 8GB internal memory issue, and you still have the Micro SD card slot expansion that support up to 32GB. So, you get maximum 64GB memory. Then, there should be no reason for you to root your device, moving apps to Micro SD, if you scare to broken the warranty.

After playing with this device, I can say that it is the most bangs for bucks smartphone/tab/phablet you can buy.

The Intel processor is not that slow, maybe, well, just the apps or benchmark software is not optimize for Intel Atom Processor. I download the graphic heavy Real Racing 3 game, can be run smoothly with no issue at all. It may feel a bit lag if compare to high end tab or phone, but hey, this is a bargain.

The 1280x800 IPS LCD screen is very good. Some people complain the visibility is not good at outdoor. Try adjust the screen setting to outdoor mode, which crank the screen brightness to maximum, it offer much better readability than before.

The video playback is also very impressive, can play all the video format (up to a 1080p 10GB) without any sight of lag. Try install some player apps will do the job fine.

Well, camera is expected not to perform very well, but at this sort of price, you can't complain more. Get the version with front and back camera instead. For those who complain on the camera, get a standalone DSLR/camera instead, this device is not made for good imaging.

The stock OS is Android v4.1.2 Jelly Bean. It is an almost stock OS from Google, with no fancy extra.

Other minus, no NFC at this price, no gyro sensor??

Overall, very satisfy with this device at this sort of money, with great flexibility, a basic device that serve as tab and a smartphone, with 7" screen.

I sure wish they paid me for my comments but i do not think my comments are so begging-for-cash LOL... About your storage issue: i do not know what kind of stuff you install or what data you keep in your device.. but that is something you need to solve for yourself. And about my tech related experience/knowledge/academical title or profession: i do understand your curiosity but that is none of your business :)
PS: I guess i am kind of an ASUS fan but only because i like some of the design ideas and value-for-money devices they have.. not because they pay me :/... Ah and thanks for the valuable mercy again Tapesh ^^

Tapesh, 03 Jul 2013Dear Agzz...you Must be an hardcore ASUS fan... Man...Yes.... moreOh sorry i did not mean to tell everyone what to do, i mean it is RELATIVELY cheap compared to most popular phones, and i think it is a better get-what-you-pay-for or value-for-money deal. Also about what i said about buying a camera/screen protector+cloth/headphone-handfree-earplug/MicroSD is only an advice, you see as they are independent devices you can get to choose price or quality-wise AND they are useful for future devices (microfiber cloth/headphone-handfree-earplug/MicroSD) or activities (camera). For example.. you buy a 500$us Popular-branded Phone with a smaller and more portable size.. as it is portable you do not need a headset-handfree-earplug device so you do not buy it.. lets say you need a lot of storage space for apps/music/videos/docs so you buy a MicroSD for like 25$us.. also you do not need a camera since the phone may be with a pretty good one (like 5 to 8 or more MP?) so you do not buy it either. In the end you got a phone with a decent camera, decent storage and portability for aprox. 525$us. Now lets say you get a fonepad for like 300 to 400$us... you get a massive/heavier brick that makes everyone laugh and yell "WHAT A FOOL!!" at you everytime you use it right? LOL! then you realize you want (need) a headset-handfree-earplug device to help you not have to hold it in front of your friends since you want to keep your reputation and keep your family honor intact too.. you spend like 30$us for a bluetooth headset.. your camera sucks and you never get that perfect looking photo with your massive brick so you need a portable camera with good resolution for those worth-to-remember moments in your life.. so you spend like 100$us for a http://store.sony.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=8198552921666521671#overview ... then you are still in need for space so you spend those hard earned 25$us extra to get a MicroSD.. In the end you have a not so popular phone, decent storage, you are sacrificing portability for the sake of ebook reading or tablet browsing/note taking, your extra camera has like 16MP and you also have a BT headset.. all for 455 to 555$us. Now the BT headset is really useful when you drive to have your hands free and you can use it with other/future BT phones. The camera should get you better photos because it is MADE FROM SCRATCH to take photos and record video. And finally you have the nice resolution to work with... Wow i did not mean to make my comment a freaking book LOL! (Look what you made me do Tapesh!)
