While listening to music all of sudden the sound qaulity goes so bad that the vol level goes straight up and so much of disburances (literally affects ears) After reboot it works fine but not for too long. Even the physical mic doesnt work fine, i began to use a blue tooth handsfree.
Can someone please tell me how to resolve this? Is there a firmware in place for this?
below is my current phone update

Model : K00E
Andriod : 4.4.2
Baseband version : 1424G_1.35.0_0625

Someone please let me know if you have found a fix.

    Keypad is very sensitive. For that reason I am returning the device.

      I'm facing the same problem !! At first I thought there is problem with my sim so I got it changed and now the new one is also not working. Have to wait for the update!!
      Amd in the mean time my 1000rs 3G plan is going to waste since past 1week !!

            Regarding your inquiry about the kitkat update, Kindly note that there is a common issue with Kit Kat update and we escalated to google and they advised us that there will be an update available soon to fix those problems , just please check for updates frequently by following these steps:
            1- Please ensure your device has an active Wi-Fi connection.
            2- Select the "Settings" option.
            3- Scroll down the Setting menu, select the "About tablet" option.
            4- Select the "System update" option.
            5- Touch the "Check Update" button. If an update is available, the tablet will notify you to download and install.

            If the above mentioned steps didn’t work your issue, please reply back to us. We are always glad to help you at any time.

                i had mail to asus about the problem , that after update fonepad 7, i m unable to call, message, ussd. But in reply asus simply send the address of service centre and this service is 20 km away from my home. Now i will neither purchase nor recommend to other for asus products.

                    I would never ever recommend anyone to purchase any android device from asus. Service is too bad. Cant blame the staff at the service station since they were not given proper training before introducing them to the android range(they were originally trained to handle laptops)

                      Asus fonepad 7 sucks..
                      Just 4 months since purchase, had to undergo 3 services, that too never came up with a complete solution for the problem. The customer care just is irresponsible.

                        Asus is not taking care of the problem caused by the latest update in FonePad 7. ASUS is playing a trick. Those people tried to write to asus, have been replied casually as a routine and have been replied as ASUS has left no stone unturned and asked to the poor customer to approach the service center they are taking all the data from phone, all logs, and all the informations which can be confidential to anyone. Its like an attempt to hack!!!!!

                            Asus fonepad - sim card not detecting after a 89 MB update.
                            Restart / reset did not worked.
                            Laying mine in service center since one week.

                            Disgusting ... not expected for a company like Asus..

                            I will use olx for use after my I got my repaired...

                                Asus Fonepad 7 India . After the 89mb OTA update on 09/09/2014 , all gsm networks
                                shall not work. I am unable to make /receive calls, or send /receive text messages.
