I buy this unit august 2015,Iso many problem,gave me alot of headache like ghost touch laggy ,now I dont trust any asus brand,,

Been using the phone for almost a year and everthings ok so far. This model cant use screen protector cos it will create that "ghost" touch, use liquid glass instead. Id use glasern liquid glass

I bought this unit in July, at day 1 I got backlight bleeding on the unit after hours of use, they replace it with a new one, then after a week with few apps the unit becomes laggy I did a factory reset, I experience hard touch and this ghost touch after a month then I saw the ghost its yellow vertical lines all over the screen, please don't use cheap lcd asus or many will get dissapointed by your products.

too bad.only 1 week use already lag. i dnt know wht im install only whtsapp, wechat and instagram. realy dissapointed . doesnt trust your brand anymore, tq

Just bought last week, gold one. good looking tablet, powerful for daily internet usage and simple game such COC, but a bit laggy for big apps. i got battery issue 2 days ago, but last night was fine, it was still working until 3%. i hope will not face lcd issues by trying to treat this stuff as tablet not as a phone,that ussually put in the pocket.

Not Good. It get clicked automatically. Some call it as Ghost touch .

Im from the Philippines. I have bought this unit last april 2015, then after 2 months I think, it started to have ghost touch, then last september, it started to have yellow lines, at first I can still use it but when November comes, i had enough, I cant take it any more. I bring it to the ASUS World on gilmore, luckily, Im just living near Gilmore. They accepted my unit any tell me to come back in 2 days, cause they will repair it for free. After 2 days, i came back, they said, they dont have stock of the LCD, so they decided to order the part on other country, so they advised me to come back after 2 weeks. Then this week, I came back, then still my unit is not released. They said, the part is not available anymore, so they will just replace the whole unit for a brand new unit, including the box and charger. So they asked me the contact number of the store where I bought it, then after they contact the store, they will give me a certificate that I will show to the store so the store can replace my unit. All I need to provide is the box, the unit and the charger. Ill do it all tomorrow. Hopefully I can already have brand new asus fonepad tomorrow. Then I will just sell it with a brand new price and buy an Ipad instead because this unit gave me a lot of head aches -_-

And i tried to ask them for information, and in two days i got my tab back in hand.. my lcd still superb. Avoid place them in the bag.. if u do so, try not to press the lcd with stuff in your bag.. and try your best to avoid over heat.. hope it helps.. :-)

I have my LCD for this unit replaced just this september and now i think it suffers the same problem again.. the unnecessary touches in the screen.why is that?

Hello,i just bought fe171cg 7 months ago,i also facing lcd issue,vertical line,yellow stripe.Sent to service 3week n 5 days ago almost 1 month,are guys took long time to repair,the service center?I think Asus must not have these kind of problem.It make my trust broken.Still under warranty,is it free?

i got the same situation with the other, the battery alway shutdown when the battery announces in the interval of 20%-30% and the screen is automatically jump by itself.
