Love the device... This device is actually what changed my mind about Android. As a developer, I *will* indeed want to build custom ROM for it some time in the future... But for now, I'm overjoyed with pure Android delivered with this device out of the box.

Ali Hatam, 03 Dec 2012I don't know your answer but I know a general solution for ... moreOn my Lumia, notified that when tethering 3G connection it's will drainage U'r battery (can't find similar notification on my SGSIII). IMO handset and/or battery will be hotter and damaged faster.
I think it's OK to tether it for a little while; for a longer use my advice is using cheap portable router (like as TP Link TL-MR3040) if U already hv a 3G dongle.

Despite of your idea, will U sacrifice your battery lifetime? As based on my experience, flash disk made my N7 batt runout rather quickly. I believe USB modem will use more mAh.

turn your android phone into a wifi-hotspot and connect to it with your pad. always you will have 3G.

Don't forget to buy USB powered adapter first to connect your external devices.
Is it jst my exp, but why my N7 batt drained quickly when a USB flash device attached (using Corsair Voyager USB3.0 32GiB):S

I am planning to buy usb on the go to connect external drives like flash drive,card readers,etc.. Also planning to connect ps3 controller to this :-)
I bought mine at villman sm north philippines..16gb only

I bought nexus 7 mainly for pdf viewing. When i tried to read a doc from portrait to landscape, the doc doesn't rotate. I thought the gyro is supposed to do this? Or is it not a feature of this product?

I have never commented on anything before but thought I would this time. I have the 32 gig 3g version. I have had this for a couple of weeks now and can't believe how handy this thing is. I am semi-retired and don't leave the house without this tablet. I'm not a phone person so I can get by with an app or two to keep me in contact if need be. My experience was great, ordered the tablet from Google, had it in 5 days and it arrived in perfect shape ready to go. I'm not one to say what I have is better than what you have, but this tablet is just amazing, if you're thinking about a tablet this size, get it, you won't regret it.

Been using my nexus 7 for 5 days now and its great! So smooth, fast and very good resolution. The only problem is it lacks basic apps like, camera, notes, and the like. Good thing google play store has lots of free apps. :D

how can i add birthday on my contacts (people app) in Nexus 7... there's no choice for birthday when I click add another field button... why is it? somebody please help...
