potski, 12 Nov 2012How is the galaxy tab 2 better? Its dual core 1ghz compared... moreyou should learn to compare the specs and watch reviews first before posting a comment that this is a useless product. GT2 is more expensive than Nex7. for the price, the Nex7 is worth the buy with its HD reso and quadcore processor. it isnt AMOLED however like the GT2 has, and has no Micro SD card slot but it definitely makes up for the things it lacks with such a cheap price

Great device for the price. 16 gb i just enought for me (gps navigation, few games, some music and still 9 gb left. Great for multitaskin (skype, internet exploring, listening to music at the same time no problems). Dont understand why you people cry about it not having a back camera, HDMI port or sd card slot... i bet you almost never use the HDMI port, somtimes just to impress friends. Back camera for a tablet isn't nescessary and the 3g is slow as hell. Why would you even want it? Better wait for 4g getting into action...

Anonymous, 09 Nov 2012worthless , no calling faclility..!What do u mean by worthless? Tablet are meant for internet, gaming and media entertainment, play book reading, etc., not for voice call because it is big to hold in hand for voice calling. Will you hold a big piece of pad on your face for voice call like a smart phone? It is just the right subsititution of a notebook or netbook because you cannow do almost everything on this tablet as your notebook/labtop.

Anonymous, 08 Nov 2012Very very poor pricing by Asus like Apple. 199$ trasnlated ... morethe price depends on various factors, government regulations also play an important role. Taxes add up to that insane difference here in India than US

The Nexus7 is a great device, I use it 90% more than my iPad3 or my Galaxy Nexus. I will certainly be buying the 3G model next week. And I could care less if its 3G instead of 4G. I'm near WiFi most of the time anyways, and on the occasion I'm not 3G will do the job just fine. I wouldn't stream media over 3G anyways, due to Data limits. 3G is fast enough to pull up a website for a quick read, or do a google search. Video Chat works just fine on my Galaxy Nexus, and its 3G.

So all you people crying over the fact that its not 4G, get over it... It's meant to be a secondary device, not a primary. If its that big of a deal, spend $50 less and get the Wifi version and tether it to your 4G phone (Which most of you probably don't have anyways) or spend the extra $50 (its pocket change) and get the 3G model and have service anywhere you go.
