In fact the nexus 7 3g has got a mini sim card which they describe as open
It's on the side of the tablet and A bit fragile to install

abhijit, 02 Nov 2012does the nexus support dongles for connectivity???? In theory yes, in practice no. Maybe with an altered rom on device, it may support. This function seems locked out as usb otg is not supported in software.

In review they said it has host USB port for mice and keyboard, this device may help connect internet dongle through this port. If this port can only power up my plug n ply USB winger, I will be connected to internet.... I would rather prefer any hands on user or developer reply on query. Cheers :-)

If Nexus 7 3G will be available soon, you should wait for it. Nexus with Sim slot is better than iPad for almost everything.
