Plus, the main selling point of this tablet is the price...So don't expect a 12-MP 1080p HD camera in one of those...Go buy yourself a digital camera if that's what you want. And, the iPad(and the iPhone, and the iPod) doesn't have SD card slot, and no one is complaining about it, so I don't think your point is valid. This tablet is also half the price of the iPad, in case you fail to notice.

It must be 3G at least. Yes, we can use our smartphone's wifi hotspot but the problem is our phone's weak battery life.

Very soon we will see this devise one of the big losers, and I'm sure Samsung or else will produce a better one with same or similar price.

I think GSMArena is one reviewer who tells you relevant info on any Mobile device, like:
1. Tablet with no support for GSM voice communication, SMS, and MMS.This is not a GSM device, it will not work on any GSM network worldwide.
2. Pixel Density of the Screen.
These two are most important features that can make or break the Tablet for me, Thanks GSMArena for such a detailed and relevant specs :)

If you guys are too upset about the no SD card slot, just bring a smartphone with you that has an SD card slot and send the files you need to it over bluetooth, in case the files won't fit... That being said, I wouldn't see it probable to bring this tablet anywhere without your phone, so I think it's just fitting to do what I have suggested. Maybe, a 32GB SD card would suffice?

No SD slot is great move by google to counter their loss for 8gb..i read somewhere that google is at loss for selling the 8gb model (engadget maybe), due to high price of hardware used, compare to the selling price.. meanwhile, they make profit from selling the 16gb model.. for most people, they'll choose for the 16gb version.. imagine if there is SD card slot, people will buy the 8gb version and put SD card for greater storage..then google will be at loss..

i can be ok with No 3g , No rear cam , but i cant with No Sd card .. i luv this tablet but i cant buy it without Sd card :(

Dead pixel in the middle of my nexus 7 when I opened it yesterday. Still an amazing piece of hardware.

Just got my nexus 7 from GameStop. This tablet so far is very impressive and well worth the price. I am disappointed however that I already have a dead pixel in the middle of my screen. I called GameStop and they said they could give me $20 store credit or I can wait a month to receive a new tablet. So I plan to use this device until my new one arrives. Sweet machine!!
